I read an article the other day about how China responds to criticism abroad. Basically they throw a massive overblown tantrum at every tiny perceived slight, along with demands for repentance and if they can, damage to the critic. They called it ‘Wolf diplomacy.’ You end up either too beaten down or not bothering to criticise.
It was like reading the SJW playbook. I do wonder how much SJW Tactics are driven by hostile actors working to undermine the west. Get people used to living in a state of tension, walking on eggshells to avoid offending people who shriek and threaten. Remove the type of culture that opposes tantrums, by making it socially taboo to tell people to stop whining. Make bigotry absolutely the worst thing you can be accused of.
You create a mindset that is divided and fearful and also a sense that even if you’re someone who thinks it’s all nonsense you shouldn't speak up because there will be consequences...
