Because he also helped keep him form being lynched, and gave him a proper defense.
True to that. These people so fixated on labels that they fail to see how doing the right thing (what Atticus did) doesn't always get you asspats and if they made Atticus black, it wouldn't have had the same effect. Or are SJWs so hateful of whites that they can't stand to see them be something other than oppressors? (All talk about "Go Set a Watchman" aside.)

When it comes to aspiring teachers, they are told to decolonize, queering, disrupt, or "rethink" the curriculum.
Here's one of the article that they had to read:
https://www.rethinkingschools.org/articles/unlearning-the-myths-that-bind-us
I read through the entire article and one of the students said that there were no female characters in the first super smash bros so I’m guessing that they didn’t do the minimum amount of research in order to know that Samus was in the game.

They also don't appear to play very many games in general, if they think that women "are still not represented in video games except as cheerleaders." Female characters in video games goes a long way, and anyone who thinks they're rare is an idiot.

A few quotes from TV Tropes as to why they think SJW stuff has become pervasive (and why it's good apparently):

"People who are not heterosexual cisgendered Christian white men want to be represented in film, television, video games, etc., with preferences shifting towards media that is inclusive of multiple demographics. This isn't complicated. It turns out that other people enjoy media too."

"When privilege shifts away from a group that has traditionally had greater than its fair share, this creates a backlash of people feeling as if something is being taken away from them. This is natural human psychology, and leads to intense resistance from the dominant group. There's always some pain associated with a fall from the heights, but the people who have previously been stood atop don't see it in the same way.

For reference, read Yertle the Turtle, or The Sneetches. (The latter is more about the stupidity of basing your social identity on superficial traits, but the mechanics of privilege are still quite relevant.)

The thing about such movements towards equality of power and representation is that they take on a vast momentum: once an underprivileged group gets an opportunity for redress, they tend to seize it and push hard until a new balance is established and maintained.

Put in a simpler way, if you've been trod on, put down, harassed for your entire life and made to believe it's your own fault, getting the chance to get your own back feels like a breath of air to a drowning person, and unleashes a wave of pent-up anger and frustration, but also joy and relief.

There are valid concerns that such movements may overcompensate, but come back and talk to me when blacks and women occupy more high-power positions and have greater political influence than white men, or when LGBT groups are systematically beating up cis-het people in the streets."

"There's a blind spot in a lot of white CIS heterosexual guys eyes and I was as guilty of it as anyone else. When I was writing my first book, Cthulhu Armageddon, I decided to make John the protagonist black. It was just because, why not, since I was thinking of Idris Elba as the protagonist (before he was cast as the Gunslinger).

You would not BELIEVE the number of butthurt Lovecraft fans who assumed I was making some sort of statement about it. That Lovecraft's racism or whatnot was being called out by my SJW ways because they were actually OFFENDED the protagonist was black.

So, I made it a point to make sure my books always have rainbow of color casts and sexual diversity as well because fuck those guys."

"There is many injustices around the world that have been going on for a long long time and people in the past that suffered from such injustices were either stifled or ignored completely.

The Internet is the perfect platform for these folks to make their voices heard. I personally would choose them over pointless reductionist contrarian alt-righters anyday that just use disadvantaged peoples as shields for their shittiness."

"The push for diversity is becoming more and more common because more and more minorities are gradually — very gradually — gaining more power. And they want to be seen in more stories. And frankly, that's a good thing. One that is long overdue. But we've still got a ways to go.

Why are Social Justice and Feminism such pervasive topics? Simple: because for too long we've pretended they didn't matter. You can only ignore a problem for so long."

"Media helps to shape worldviews. It can, as shown, have a profound impact on the way kids see the world around them. Like, watching a violent cartoon isn't going to make kids go out and do violence. But kids do absorb the themes and messages, even unintentional ones, that are present in the show.

Entertainment media is culture.

If every message a child absorbs from their culture is that women are shrieking harpies that just want your money, that child will grow up thinking that women are shrieking harpies that just want your money. Children are constantly learning from what they see, hear, and experience and forming their identities, opinions, and ideologies from those lessons. The media that they consume will shape and guide them.

In this modern day and age where our favorite brands are inescapable and everyone has a portable computer in their pocket, media probably has just as much if not more influence over a child's development as parents do.

That's why it is so important to take care with the messages and ideas that one's story is putting out, especially if it's meant for children. I cannot tell you how many times I've heard the harmful messages of a work defended as, "It's just a kid's show." As if media being aimed at kids somehow makes its messages less important.

A diverse cast can help to normalize the idea that being different is okay in the mind of someone who might not know a lot of people outside their immediate racial demographic. Pro-LGBT themes can push back against homophobic propaganda that has saturated many countries for centuries.

And it's also why endorsing colonialism and the White Man's Burden is at-best careless and at-worst actively contributing to the problem. Grumble grumble."

Yeah, talk about a rather naive view of this topic huh? Thoughts?

It’s weird; growing up I always saw TV shows with female characters rejecting things like dresses and skirts. Now people are pushing them on boys. Progress I guess?

Well as these people would say; that’s a lot to unpack.
Though I can’t help but notice a lot of these posts boil down to “freaking white people”.

Of course they reference children's books to reinforce their social views.

If every message a child absorbs from their culture is that women are shrieking harpies that just want your money, that child will grow up thinking that women are shrieking harpies that just want your money.
I zoned out a paragraph in, but this one stood out. Because it's not every message, it's just the dominant messages. And there was something someone said near the start dismissing the backlash towards the majority as minorities 'take power' as basically, 'Nothing the non-straight white cis men do against other people matters unless they're the majority'. Which is standard SJW 'black people can't be racist' bullshit.

But the think about what children absorb from culture is true - and the damage is becoming evident, not that they'd ever see it as such. Because one of the dominant narratives for girls that they push is that they will always be considered inferior, they will always be a victim, that all men only value one thing and that the patriarchy will always keep them down. And all of a sudden, a whole bunch of girls are deciding they don't want to be women, they want to be men instead.

Similarly, they push the idea that if you're a man, especially a straight white man, you are born with original sin and have to spend the rest of your life atoning for it, because your mere existence is to the detriment of the rest of society. You are inherently racist and inherently misogynist (because now it doesn't matter how you were raised) and if something goes wrong, it's all your fault - as a random example, even if black people are killing Jews, somehow it's still your fault if you're a white man because it just is. And all of a sudden, we get a bunch of boys wanting to not be men - and also a bunch of boys who are taught their natural sexual urges are inherently damaging and wrong, leading to everything from incels to soyboys to predatory male feminists.

There's one thing that has always been very clear about these people, and it also separates a person who actually wants things to change from an SJW. Because an SJW talks a big game about taking down the system, but what they so clearly want, and even will outright say, is that they don't want to change the system, they just want to be in charge.

It's funny how it feels so out of date to refer to Game of Thrones, considering it only ended last year. But they don't want to break the wheel, they just want to be on top of it so they can do unto others exactly what they feel like has been done to them - with an added helping of revenge, spite and resentment as well.

So instead of actually doing something about that "harmful" dynamic she just wanted to be the one benefiting from it? Points for honesty I suppose.

The level of sour grapes and entitlement that oozes from these subs is why femcels are more entertaining than incels. They can plainly see that the romantic world revolves around women, and are devastated that they cannot achieve something piss easy for the average girl. On the rare occasion where they do, it's followed by ludicrous levels of insecurity and paranoia.

The result of a married ex-femcel is observable in subs like r/PornFreeRelationships, where they conglomerate to harp over their insecurities, make their spouses miserable, and then wonder why said husbands prefer pictures over them.

I feel sorry for the poor man who is forced to go masturbate in secret in his mother's car because of his hating-sex fearing porno wife.
Double the feel because he get caught. :(

You know, maybe if they actually took people’s advice and tried one of those quarantine activities instead of raging on the net, they’d feel much better.
Just imagine admitting you don’t have a five year plan but you still want to start a revolution.
How can you strike if you aren't working in the first place? But then again this is tranny that says shit like "I want to riot. I want to riot online", he probably hasn't worked a day in his life.
Given the use of comrade and ranting against capitalism, all signs point to them being a commie. So definitely hasn’t worked a day in their life.

Has anyone ever heard of performance artist Matthew Silver? If you haven't, then you're not missing anything. His is an SJW, so I'm going to share one of his more pretentious "performances":

He's also been called the "wokest man alive" by his fellow activists. I didn't have any articles or rants to share this time.
