I think it's a general decision to go on the offensive because Manjaw and others are amping up their shit. Attacking the store owner who hosted Vic, attacking the cop who attended and defended Vic. They definitely are doubling down on ruining the rest of Vic's life. May be an instance of Bad Cop / Good Cop. Not that there was a deep plan.

I think a lot Vic's word choices in this callout were very deliberate. He was aiming to discredit these shitheels while also getting something in there that he knew would bother certain people. Saying he's not attracted to Monica probably wouldn't phase her one way or another but to say that about Jamie, who clearly has a high opinion of her looks, must drive her crazy.
