They have no chance in hell actually removing him from office so long as the GOP controls the Senate. It's literally a no-sell attempt. All the impeachment was, was a dog and pony show. Smoke and mirrors to make their base, the more extreme side mind, believe things are happening to "stop the evil Orange Man" but in reality, their efforts were pathetic and now ready to turn around and punch them in the face. If a trial happens, Biden is going to be reamed over the Ukraine issue and all sorts of shit may be shone light that previously wasn't.
We have no idea what Trump has built up in his personal political warchest but he's been for sure building it for a time like this. All the investigations ending in his favor with not a scratch on him and other motions going forward have stacked the deck in his direction. It's why Pelosi refused to send the articles of impeachment forward without some sort of deal (only to buckle like a child).

Any impeachment trial that goes on will be very damaging to the Dems unless the GOP bypasses that and votes on the articles immediately to shut them down. Even then, it makes the Dems look weak. All that hot air for that? Pathetic.

I wonder how much this impeachment lark cost? Combine that with the cost of the Russiagate investigation and Trump could run his campaign solely on hammering them on wasting taxpayers money.

Trump's enemies are so determined to get him that they're willing to throw millions into a flaming dumpster just for the off chance that they could mildly inconvenience him. What is it with Hulu and this type of shit? About a year ago they released a documentary on the Fyre Festival at the same time Netflix released theirs. Surprisingly, Netflix's was a factual examination of the event itself and the people effected, mostly the locals who were employed and left high and dry. If you watch Hulu's, theirs focused only on the social media 'influencers' who attended the event, they paid the asshole who ran it for an interview, and the whole thing was a sociopolitical spin about how Fyre Festival reflects the times and how the guy who ran it is just like Drumpf. Hulu is like the HuffPo of streaming services.
