If that’s the case, Bernie should have pulled a Trump and said that he would put pressure on those companies to make the fees lessened in prisons. Of course, Bernie being Bernie, everything has to be free. Even if Bernie promised that, considering how easily he cowers to BLM and Hillary Clinton, I doubt his negotiation skills would actually work in getting things done.

My point more-so is that the Left isn't making any attempt to reach across the aisle and coerce people into hearing their arguments. They're actively shutting down arguments, refusing to talk to people, and demanding that you do what they say "or else." They're not trying to bolster their ranks, they're trying to do what amounts to "purging out heretics", where-as the Right side of the field is continually hosting events to bring people together and just talk to them, they're going out of their way to explain and rationalize their positions, and even with that whole sect of them that just beat their chest and scream about Murika! they still have plenty of people who make a concerted effort to persuade people into hearing Right-leaning opinions.
It worked for Obama. Bernie isn’t black though and lacks the charisma. Also, Bernie’s been going so far left lately that I don’t think he’d actually win against Trump. Even Obama had enough sense not to do a presidential campaign like that.

Well to be honest, the Russian government is shit and I wish for Russia to have a more fair and libertarian government since the Russian government that we see now is pretty much really authoritarian and not to mention really corrupt too and they have a very long way to go for them to be a much more functional democracy and shit.

To be fair, this is probably one of his better ideas. Prisoners are captive consumers who are taken advantage of to a ridiculous degree while locked up. Taking the profit out of the prison industry is a good idea. (Any long-term prisoners should be executed anyway, instead of raped for cash.)
Of course, Bernie being a coward, he'd never have the balls to stand up for any of the bullshit he's campaigning for once he gets into office. Everyone will wipe their feet on him.
Its one thing for those of us here in the west to wish freedom and the like on other countries like Russia, but I don't think it will ever happen, mainly because I don't believe the Russians actually want it. I think you would be surprised how many of them pine for a Stalin to come back. I know I was when I found it out.
