Guy calls Info Wars a conspiracy site while pushing a conspiracy himself. It’s hilarious how little self-awareness he has.
He sounds like this:

Funny how his greatest fear of "VRONULD VRUMPFFFFF WILL TELL HIS SUPPORTERS THAT DEMOCRATS ARE ALL EVIL SUBHUMAN SCUM!!" is literally built around the idea that his political adversaries might start treating him the same way he has been fanatically treating them for years now.

Seriously, their apocalyptic endgame is that "the bad guys" will wind up sinking to the same levels of dishonesty and hate of "the good guys". This is straight up WW2 Axis levels of "HOW DARE THE ALLIES BOMB US!!! WHATEVER HAVE WE DONE TO DESERVE SUCH AGGRESSION?!" solipsism

Can certain people stop crying about "muh detention center conditions" in this thread? Either provide proof that the Trump administration is actively denying the "kids in cages" shit like soap when it actually has the ability to give them those basic necessities, or GTFO.

There’s been so much salt from Twitter today. I can’t wait for the reactions in November 2020.

They really want a President Mike Pence that badly?

I think you got that sentence switched up.

There's a really good reason why the Founding Fathers wanted a representative republic over a pure democracy. It all comes down to the fact that many of the pure democracies before it simply failed and would eventually become corrupt and tyrannical. There's a sad reason why Socrates was then condemned to death because the people in power convinced the Athenians to execute Socrates for 'corrupting the youth' and a whole bunch of other bullshit crime charges and the people in power did their best to convince the citizens of Athens to vote to have Socrates be put to death and this would be part of the beginning of the end of Athenian democracy because mob rule would take over and make everything into total shit by then.

The big problem with a pure democracy is that the people in power can make good people do really horrible things by appealing to their emotions and whatnot which is why the Founding Fathers wanted to make things more fair and not have the United States end up like Athens in the long run.
I recall an old Paul Harvey bit where he explained how we are representative republic and straight democracy kills Jesus. Like literally citing the crowd choosing Barabbas as an example of the flaws.

AOC, the dimwit that she is, thinks the electoral college is racist.

Meanwhile, on CNN...

They choose to interpret Trump jokingly saying "I am the chosen one" and gently raising his head to the sky, rather than a playful expression, as him believing he was hand-picked by God like a homeless man with schizophrenia in an alleyway. They then fill their 10-minute timeblock comparing him to conspiracy theorists while pushing the usual talking points: complaining about ICE, complaining about Russia, complaining about Trump in general.

I'm not particularly interested in blaming Trump for this situation. I want the situation itself fixed. Anyone focusing on blame over solutions is using those people as leverage. It's disgusting.

I also think it's disgusting to cheer for those conditions, or to claim that the imprisoned shouldn't get soap. That's using those people in a different way, but not a better one.

But just blaming Trump for it? Nothing is ever, ever that simple.
Why doesn't some woke company who mak s razors donate some soap for good boy points?

Oh, so now the messianic references annoy these people. Okay.

Well, if you were to say anything negative about Obama then you're a racists by default. No if, and or buts! However, with Trump you can because he's literally the reincarnation of Hitler.

Which is why all the talk of "DRUMPHPFP IS TEH ANTICHRIST" makes me laugh. These people don't object to a god, false or real; they just want him to agree with them, so they too can be a god by proxy.

I love how people were quick to shift responsibility to Obama when they found out he was involved in those conditions, but when you point out that Trump could address those conditions, the response typically is: "No! We NEED them to stay like that! They're illegals REEEEE". Espeically when Trump has repealed a few Obama-era regulations.

Are you fine with the conditions or not? You can't just change gears like that.
Where's the option for literally not caring about these people? I'm sorry, but after seeing the way these 'downtrodden' acted on their way through Mexico I just really don't care about their situation. The media and politicians have already blew their load by calling this the literal Holocaust, so come wake me up when that's actually happening.

Or in a shorter way, the well of fucks to give has run dry.

It's almost like there needs to be some sort of border wall or something and changes to asylum/immigration laws in order to actually deal with the problem....

Again, agreed. I'm not using this as a stick to beat Trump with. I actually give a shit about the imprisoned. Those who use them as props, or to launch proxy attacks...the back of my hand to them.

Trump often doesn't help things with his shit disturbing, but I doubt it would help at all by this point if he had been as bland and milquetoast as a Romney (see his very obvious and straightforward comments about Charlottesville being misrepresented so extremely, comments so uncontentious it's hard to see how anyone could buy the interpretations the left has applied). The Democratic party is in an insane spiral, getting more and more extreme by the month. The Democratic leadership has a tiger by the tail, and all it would take would be to let go and return to the same positions they held under Obama and actually work with Trump to deal with the immigration crisis. I don't see them letting go of that tail until at least 2022, though.

It certainly didn't help that the Republican party was just as obstructive to Trump until a mutation happened during and after Kavanaugh.

Is there a thread for Nate Silver? He really needs his own.

Nobody is gonna fucking vote for Jay Inslee to go against Trump because some ice is melting.

How can this guy be so retarded?

He is getting dragged for this yet another hot take though, which pleases me tremendously.

Well no one's gonna' vote for Inslee period since his ass just dropped out of the race. I love how these people are so devoid of actual policies that they have to whip out climate change as a reason to vote for them instead of Trump. No one with half a brain on their shoulders is going to vote for someone just because they're rambling incoherently about some vague, environmental policies. No one will ever be elected President for talking about wind turbines and carbon taxes.

Absolutely fucking 0% chance of it ever happening, and it just pisses them off so badly when they can't manifest some made-up reason to vote for them. I love the utter fucking inability that Nate's displaying here, though. "He screamed and screamed about climate change and never improved in the polls! Why didn't it work?!" Because the general public doesn't give a shit you balding gremlin.

For Silver that's barely even a hot take, he's mostly right. Though I disagree that Inslee's "the world is going to end in 12 years, vote for me or else" rhetoric failing to gain any traction is indicative that Democrats aren't motivated by policy concerns, instead of showing literally everyone but middle-to-upper class urbanites are sick and tired of the last 20 years of Climate Change alarmism, ever since Al Gore was in a popular documentary. Particularly when anyone reasonably educated on the subject sees a) a convenient fuel source that would drastically reduce our carbon emissions being ignored or lied about by the aforementioned alarmists, and b) that their proposed solutions instead involve a lot of policies completely divorced in any way from environmental conservation in lieu of expanding government power.

The fact that every frontrunner candidate can't go 3 seconds without uttering the name "Trump" is what's indicative that Democrats (or at least their candidates) aren't motivated by policy concerns.

How did Silver get famous anyway he's wrong about 9/10 times. You could get more accurate predictions flipping a coin.
Take his predictions and reverse them and you have a 9/10 success rate. He's so consistently good at failing these days that he's a fantastic indicator of what's going to actually happen.

He correctly predicted almost every single race in the 2012 election. IIRC the only one he was off on was a really close race for the House somewhere.
Granted, that was one of the most predictable elections since Reagan v. Mondale, and Obama's 2nd term really accelerated the political re-alignment that has utterly trashed his prediction models ever since.
