Of course. Some say he went a bit of a sell-out which Phil loves to talk shit about other streamers doing but he's still enjoyable to watch. What I'm getting at is they have huge viewing and the chat will meme the fuck out of it that you can't even have a conversation. Phil is streaming like he has the same thing going and ignores his chat like it is moving a thousand memes an hour. So the copy paste job he's pulling just will not work which is why he gets frustrated on low "interactions" and what not.

So I wouldn't be surprised if he watches other streamers(which he vehemently tries to deny like everything else in his life)and goes through a checklist of things. Though he half-asses the majority of it.

So, I just listened to DSP's latest rant about YT...

You know, it's really hard for Phil to get to me because I consider him such a failure, he's usually my go-to when I'm feeling down to watch a few detractor videos, laugh at the absurd, ignorant shit he says and tell myself I'm glad I'm not DSP. It could always be worse.

But holy fuck, this latest rant really, really pissed me off. What an ungrateful fucking cunt. What a goddamn sourpuss. What a fucking piece of shit. He's the definition of a loser. If there ever were pictures associated with the definition of words in the dictionary, DSP's picture should appear next to the word loser.

Phil is so unappreciative of a platform that enabled to become who he is, the level of dissonance is unbelievable. He's also completely unaware of the technical ingenuity, saviness, and marvel that goes into enabling hundreds of millions of videos instantly, at the tip of your finger, without any cost associated to it. I've worked for companies associated with YT. Some of the smartest people I've ever met were on the same information systems team where we designed big data systems to enable the data load and handling for millions of people.

To see the work I've done to be shat on by this ignorant fucking cunt really pissed me off. I don't mind when he stays in his lane and is sour about things he doesn't know about. But if you start insulting where I have expertise, it's personal. Fuck him. Fuck him and everything he stands for.
 
without youtube dsp would be in a pretty rough place. I think he shits on YT because CM punk his idle said "WWF didn't buy my house I did" so DSP just believes he'd be succesful regardless of youtube.
 
I'm watching the new Snort Burnell video with Mario Maker 2, and I hate to agree with DSP on anything, but it does kind of look like the hitboxes are, if not "incorrect", then incredibly strict on spikes. I haven't played the game myself however - what do you all think?

Some people like to be abused, some physically, some sexually, some monetarily. DSP's fans are like the battered women who keep going back to their husbands claiming "I love him".

Not sure because I haven't played it, but as a game developer (powerleveling, I know) the thing to keep in mind about hitboxes on a retro styled game like that is they're likely solid squares and not pixel perfect, just more efficient to code them without weighing down the system (which in the case of the NES was laughably weak), so really they're just blocks with a set no-go zone. They're not going to be perfect, but they will be consistent so you know where you shouldn't go. Also it's very unlikely the developers animated the hitbox like DSP was at one point trying to say as that would further waste memory and processor headroom (and would be pretty much pointless to program for a 240p game).
 
Cut him a break, he's so busy he didn't have time to watch Wonder Woman or Shazam, which were both pretty good.

Could have at least looked them up though to see they were well-received. So not all of them have sucked.

No, it's also my search result. In fact you can type in the full "LSBgaming" and it still gives you DSP results. When you hit Enter it even asks you "Did you mean: dspgaming " while the right results you actually hammered in pop up (stuff from LSB, as it should be).

The reason seems to be a combination of search algorithm, favour and the registered name.
You see, LSB has no URL set to his name. It's https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoTLahgI4oCJ4hvQYy489Qw
While Phil has https://www.youtube.com/user/DSPGaming
You would think this explains everything, but wait and behold, what's this? https://www.youtube.com/user/LSBGaming
Right, an LSB channel, a dead one. Might indeed be an 8 year old one of our detractor buddy, it's even subscribed to Phil.

So as you see, Phil got the advantage in this search. Youtube did right, but it has nothing to do with anti troll acts.

The best part to me is when he rants about how "youtube's algorithm sucks". Phil wouldn't know what an algorithm is if one were to piss on his eyeballs, let alone have the mental capabilities to develop one. He's just repeating what everyone else is screeching. Or like when he called the developers of Dark Souls 'lazy fucking bums', when he doesn't even have half the necessary intelligence and skills to do a tenth of what any of them do. Those things are indeed not even laughable anymore, they're just infuriating.

Don't know Boogie at all but seeing him bitch about making like $500 for a ten minute video really opened my eyes at how much money must have been being thrown at content creators including Phil. Phi makes high 5 figures to low 6 figures a year which he calls "barely hanging on" think of how much he must have been making for him to acknowledge it was a disgusting amount Machinima paid him. I don't blame them for accepting that kind of cash but I also don't have sympathy that the gravy train is slowing down especially if they expect it.

A lot of these YTers very seldom show any appreciation in regards to the value of the money they made on a platform that literally has no barrier to entry. No thought ever goes behind the monumental infrastructure costs and information systems required to enable a platform of this scale. It’s not appreciated; it’s taken for granted.

I think Mr Mekotur said it best when he talked about the inevitable decline of the typical YTer: you better put some of that money aside for that rainy day because it’s inevitably coming. Since most are idiots in the first place, they never do and crash and burn miserably. DSP being a prime example. What makes Phil unique however is that he’s still surviving albeit having a miserable life and a very public decline. He’s just stuck where he is and you can tell he’s super sour about it. What makes a lot of us hate him is the very attitude he displayed during his latest YT rant: he’s learned fucking nothing and refuses to take any sort of responsibility for his downfall. There’s no humility, just resentment about how he was wronged and how it’s all the fault of the very platform that enabled him to get where’s he’s at. Just look at what he said: he made YT money, not the other way around. Stupid motherfucker doesn’t understand he gets paid a portion of the advertising costs and not a portion of the products directly sold through YT’s advertising as tracking such data would be ridiculously difficult and intrusive.

The entitlement that comes with the concept that because he’s created over 40,000 shitty videos means he’s owed success and money is a sight to behold.
