There is a Youtube creator that I like called 'CallMeKevin' that has created a few videos of this game


In this video (and most videos), he's clearly just fucking around with the game: putting 100 rockets on it, crashing it repeatedly, et cetera.

The reason why I thought of this video and creator in general is because DSP is literally incapable of doing something like this. He has to WIN at the game, regardless of fun or entertainment. He says as much when he camps out in COD Blackout: people have asked him to just go for kills and not worry about placing and he says that kills 'aren't the objective of the game.'

If DSP tried to play this game, he would be so pissed off because he would only try to "win" and bitch that nothing was explained to him.
 
I think the big thing a lot of people overlook is the kids who give DSP money are either failing horribly as wannabe a-logs or are too young/inexperienced to know the value of money.

A lot of us go "Oh that's fuckin ridiculous he makes so much and still needs more so badly".

A lot of them likely have no comparison or home of their own so they assume a house costs like $5000 in mortgage a month before bills, so they see nothing wrong with this man constantly crying he needs more money

This is commensurate with the fact that every time we get the life story of a DSP supporter it's like it was cut from a fucking template.

Single male (or widower, honestly, my condolences, superblindman) with dim prospects in life. Rents or lives with relatives. Minimum wage job or no job. Possibly pursuing a degree (which is the new watchword for "future frycook-in-training"). Few interests outside vidya.

They have no frame of reference for what Adult Things cost likely because they've relinquished hope of ever acquiring those things and so have never bothered to get information on it.

DSP is entertainment for the Damned.

To no surprise to anyone. He doesn't care about the person who gives the money, only the money once it clears to his account so the soulmare can get her day of shopping and restaurants.

I think one of the images Phil aspires to are some of the characters in The Sopranos. Tracksuit-wearing, big-dick-energy toughguy lotharios who get by on (genuine) streetsmarts and fucking over The Man while flashing their wallet to impress people and having a kept woman as a wife or girlfriend to serve as a status symbol.

It's a pity that Phil is a pasty, noodle-armed fag with low-T, no acumen of any kind and a chronic fear of any human interaction, let alone actual confrontation.

DSP does strike me as the type of person that doesn't realize that the guys on the Sopranos and in Goodfellas were all the bad guys. At the end of the day, they were all ruthless thugs.

If he does realize it I'm sure he doesn't care. Having a woman with big tits is good. Having all the stuff you want is good. Being able to tell people you don't like to go fuck themselves with no repercussions is good.

Why give it more thought than that?

What I find funniest about the whole "tough guy" image Phil seems to have of himself in his head is that he's such a pussy he runs away from things in video games, and it's not rare, like running away from things seems to be Phil's main strategy most of the time when he plays any game.

I wouldn't call Judgment awful for streaming, but you have to know what you're doing (aka. make the combat interesting to watch) and preferably know the lore behind the Yakuza games to have something to talk about.

Phil is shit in both aspects and is just boring to watch.

Someone like devilleon (a Yakuza YouTuber) got around 2-3k viewers on his stream of the game even though he only got 25k subscribers on YT.

Also, Phil was again, late with the release.
Even though the official release was June 25th, people who pre-ordered digital copies could already play on the 20th. (But Mr. professional streamer couldn't be arsed to check the psn store)

With judgement having watched him across 2-3 different sessions at this point and he pretty much just does one combo throughout with little to no variation. 39:09 and 19:53 respectively. It works but from a viewer's standpoint it makes another aspect of the game boring, in a game where there are already a lot of cutscenes, a lot of walking around, and segments where you have to trail somebody.

As is no shock to anyone, Phil goes through no extra effort to entertain his stream or to challenge himself. His initial goal at least of reviewing games objectively is rendered pretty useless when he makes no effort to wring any entertainment out of what is an interactive medium.

Yeah I wasn't really saying Judgement is awful for streaming since I've been watching ATP play it and it's thousands times more entertaining than watching Goutman play even though Aris doesn't know shit about Yakuza. He makes it very entertaining to watch. It's really just Phil that makes it a slog. He is so terrible at streaming games. Seems to be an afterthought to him.

He will sit there like any normal person playing a video games and everything he says feels forced and it always comes out to the bare minimum. There's no insight to anything related to what he's playing. I'm sure if he wasn't so tied to Twitch rules, you would expect a lot more blatant racism and chicky chang kind of shit going on.

Which makes me think why his Mario Maker 2 streams are just going to be bunk. Cannot see him making any interesting levels and refuses to touch other levels because it might be too hard for his peanut sized brain. He always has that play to win mindset even when it comes to games where winning doesn't really matter.

Phil is the type of dude that sees winning as fun. The try hard win at all costs type. Will use the most blatant overpowered shit to breeze through games, or pick top tier characters for easy wins because the thought of losing to him digs deep on a personal level. When Phil says he wants to play games and have fun, the fun part comes from stupid shit like trophies and achievements.

Phil thinks the game is glitched. He's using a walkthrough but the portal he needs or whatever won't spawn. So what's his brilliant master plan to solve this? Save the game and restart. Save over his only save file. With what he thinks is a glitched, progress broken version of the game. Possibly locking him into said state because now he has no save to go back to. How I ask you, does someone who has played games for this long have zero common sense?

I'd watch that series. The Taxanos, featuring Philbert. It would just be a single episode of him snorting while shipping a bag of cocaine with his address slammed on it through UPS, and doing the T-pose when getting busted while screaming about how he did nothing wrong.

Having a job
Updating his merch store
Starting an amazon wishlist (but he did anyways)
Updating his amazon wishlist
To do DSP tries it
To increase his stream times.

So time for DSP talks too much - He says his only free time is from 10pm - 1am. He also says he gets up at 10am. Thats 12 hours so far. He spends 6 hours streaming. What does he do the other 6 hours? I thought he had no time!
