If i remember correctly he played some other RE game on hard because that was the "standard" difficulty and normal gave you a lot of supplies and ammo, as well as a gun with infinite ammo (being easy mode). I bet if people told him that Normal in the HD remaster of Metroid was easy and Hard was normal, he would play it on Hard (and he would be incredibly asspained).

When he played the RE Remake he picked the easy option (it's kind of vaguely stated, it's not just easy/normal so honestly I can see the confusion there). Then when he played RE Zero the stream chat tricked him and told him the easy on that version was a new extra easy, normal was the old easy and hard was the original normal so he played it on hard a died a billion times. Also when he played Metroid Prime 1 it was the trilogy version, he played it on normal (actually easy like you said) but still managed to die a bunch of times and nearly ragequit the game.
Yeah, i remember very well the fiasco with RE Zero, specially Phil dying a fuckload of times to the monkeys and him bitching about "i will not have enough ammo to kill the final boss" which was golden. But not as good as the Ink Ribbon bitching in RE: Nemesis.
For me it was C25K. After I got comfortable with that, I made changes to my diet and started lifting. Changed my life entirely.
Yes indeed, as a gamer you would just assume the middle one is normal. Yet you'd think that as a streamer, you'd do 20 seconds of research into the differences between the multiple difficulties in order to make the correct choice as to what would provide the most entertaining stream.
DSP just decided that he's going to play Judgment only during late streams after today because it's not getting enough "attention". He has complained multiple times people are not showing up, not talking to him etc. etc., the usual pathetic shit.

He's always awful in this regard. With judgement having watched him across 2-3 different sessions at this point and he pretty much just does one combo throughout with little to no variation. 39:09 and 19:53 respectively. It works but from a viewer's standpoint it makes another aspect of the game boring, in a game where there are already a lot of cutscenes, a lot of walking around, and segments where you have to trail somebody.
