No one is saying, but if they divorced in October while Heidi found out in January, there's a good chance Heidi knew for a while before Ross ever did. With Holly moving near Jared and Heidi immediately following the divorce, I want to believe she ended up leaving him for Jared. If he did know, he was letting it happen. If he didn't know, he got fucked over, and Heidi knew for a long time before saying anything. This is why people are questioning Heidi now, for the person wanting the world to see how they did nothing wrong, there's some key shit she did that's not acceptable too.

Jared is clearly the bigger piece of shit because he got into a relationship with a married woman and was sexually aggressive towards fans that may have been underage, but Heidi isn't the picture perfect victim she claims to be and people are realizing that. She had to have known about Holly cheating on Ross almost a year before they divorced. She overplayed her hand, lied by omission, tried to hold onto a relationship that Jared allegedly was done with, attacked people for asking questions about shit that didn't make sense, refuses to admit to anything that could make her look bad at all, etc. She tried so hard to be the victim that when people realized she's not that good of a person either, people turned on her. Jared has already been strung up and lashed, and will be for a while, but Heidi knew some shit was up and said nothing, and she also lied to get people more on her side. So yeah, both are pieces of shit. Jared is a much bigger piece, but Heidi's shit still stinks too.

So here’s what it’s sounding like to me; Heidi, for some reason, brought up the idea of an open relationship, and Jared agreed. Heidi has a few relationships on the side (maybe sexual, maybe not) and it seems like Jared does too. (with fans) Heidi at some point decides Jared isn’t being trustworthy in this arrangement; They probably had a deal report to each other who they were fucking, which Jared wasn’t doing. They fight about it, but it’s one of those couple fights where nothing ever gets resolved and you both just move on.

Later, Heidi finds out there’s a budding relationship between Jared and Holly, who has become a fast friend of Jared’s and who has been doing all this “D&D relationship” bullshit with him, and now Heidi actually feels threatened. Holly, on the other hand, is probably pushing Jared to leave Heidi, but he is reluctant. (Why only settle for 1 pussy when you currently have potential access to 2?) Heidi eventually snaps, and demands that Jared stop fucking Holly. Jared, now forced to choose, picks Holly, and decides to file for divorce.

If my moronic analysis of events is correct, then...that kind of lines up more with Jared’s version of events than Heidi’s. He’s still fucked for the potential pedostuff though.
