Anyone who has ever worked on computers has found some weird shit on there. It's not at all uncommon for some idiot to bring in a computer for repair and have CP on it and get busted.

To do a minor powerleveling, Some years ago I was attending a tech school that allowed people to bring in their PC's for free to repair. I actually ran into this situation. For some reason the anti virus software could scan, but not get rid of a file, and so had to trace the origins of where the problem file was. It was a video among 4 other videos. One of the title and thumbnail looked suspicious, and so I brought over my instructor to help me determine the next course of action(and as a witness). Cops got called obviously. They determined it was CP.

So yeah it does happen.

Yes. He's kept relatively quiet since Vic got reinvited to KC. Can't tell which side he's on definitively. I've seen this post when it first came out on her Twitter. According to Terez replying to a later post, She mentions that VoiceofMalzar on Twitter claimed that Strait and Schemmel backed down after they did that as they were afraid of retaliation from Vic and his brother. Where was this video posted originally ?

Now that I remember what I was going on about in a discord server about this situation, I want to ask y'all guys a question.

What's going to happen after Vic undoubtedly wins, etc.?

We all know something is going to happen, but I want y'all's thoughts on this. I'll compare this with my data from several other servers and try to make an accurate guess after compiling it all.

Immediately? An appeal trying to drive the punitive awards down to 0. A bit later? Funimation gets gutted by Sony. This occurs even if Vic loses -- Funimation as we know it is undead. It's just a matter of time.

Afterwards... I see the other dubbing studios (Viz, Sentai, etc) being more willing to work with Vic openly. I also predict sites like ANN and Polygon will do hit pieces for a while (few years) afterwards, just to keep "Vic, who was accused of sexual misconduct..." in the papers out of spite.

Later, Funimation (Sony) sues Rial, Marchi, and Soye for their share of the payout. This marks the end of Rial and Marchi's careers. I don't see real companies working with them again, although SJWelfare means that as long as a company has a danger hair, they'll have a chance to get hired.

More or less what HTTP said, however, I expect Ty to throw in some restraining orders/cease and desists to prevent these news sources and VAs from spreading too much shit after the case, If they do, violation of restraining order charge and whatever comes with it.

Did you try formatting the drive to get rid of the file?

I've wondered for a while if Vic himself asked his closer VA friends to not get involved and risk their jobs. Just seems like something he'd do based on what we've seen of him.

In any event, breach of contract by Funimation isn't in the case, I would assume because they did not actually breach.

Or they don't know the contents of the contract. I would imagine that there's a lot of information in it that Vic might have not understood/remembered. These people do jumble up what "confidential" and "private" are if Vic, Monica, La Choy and Samantha can give details on the investigation in public and in petitions.

1. Vic is an only child. Might be a jab at Aaron Dismuke.
2. The video originally came from Sean Schemmel's YouTube channel. He has since deleted it of his channel, but other people obviously downloaded it and re-uploaded it.

I was repairing the computer for the customer. They came in complaining about it being slow. They requested to have no reformat and they claimed family photos or something. Even offered to back them up, but still insisted no. This happens occasionally, but we tell them that if we cannot reformat as a last resort, the problem may not be fixed. Honestly I would say it is a small possibility they downloaded something else and they ended up becoming a host for those videos. I am sorry to say I cannot remember what program they were using, but it was a file sharing one. Frankly they had other cracked files too, but cannot remember it.

I would have been happy to get rid of such file, but once I knew what it was, I just brought over my instructor because I was too afraid of getting in trouble for potentially deleting evidence.

To answer the other questions, I dont remember if they said it was a second hand harddrive or not.
