Jace has a mental illness and he's only funny accidentally so please don't have a fucking stroke because someone called him on the phone and played a nasheed once and in your personal taste, that joke is "played out".

The reason for this rule is because this complaining is not really productive or conducive to further conversation, there's nothing any of us can do to enforce your personal tastes on the rest of the entire planet so you don't ever have to witness something you don't think is funny. It's kind of like spending your time to write a post complaining about the weather: it's a waste of energy, and the problem is temporary and inconsequential anyway.

The reason weens ween is that they're trying to impress kiwis or /k/omrades. They read the threads even if they don't claim credit. Complaining is the only way to admonish them.

I don't think its not funny to start a sweetheart saga with Jace, I think its just stupid. To me it comes down the same line as trying to create a Liquid Jace saga and even then it comes down to people thinking all cows are the same. I don't think most of us are complaining or turning red in the face saying "OMG SWEETHEART SAGA SO WEENY HJKJHFDJMNF". Its more making fun of people who are trying way to hard to troll Jace and not realizing Jace is his own best troll.

Funny thing you should say that because there was a troll trying to start a"Liquid Jace" saga a while ago, so I'm not surprised weens are using the same tactics that have been used before on Chris thinking they could be the next Julay or Clyde Cash.

I despise how often people throw around "ween" or A-log" around on this forum.

However, I don't really see how people stating they dislike the idea of a jace-sweetheart saga ( or sweetheart sagas in general) falls under this rule about getting pissed at Jaces trolls. I certainly was not pissed at any troll when i wrote my post about it in this thread.

Just to be clear, the only thing I'm banning is when bitching reaches critical mass and derails a thread or gets really obnoxious, like what is slowly beginning to happen here - I'm not literally going to delete every single post on this forum that voices a contrary view, and I have no idea how you reached this absurd conclusion, or if you were just making it up to make me sound stupid for some very strange reason. In any case, I'm going to try to explain this a little better so everyone is on the same page here...

I really, really think you misunderstand ween's motivations. The career weens, the ones who do it over and over without ever improving, are interested only in getting a reaction... ANY reaction. They only want to be noticed and replied to.

Whether the reply praises them for their hilarious trolling skills or condemns them for acting like a shit-flinging 12 year old is totally irrelevant to them. The very fact that they were capable of causing another human being to write out a post replying to them is the reward in their mind. They think that's really great and they will keep doing it literally forever, like a Skinner box of autism, until you stop giving them attention.

This is why critiquing "trolling" like you're a fucking fine arts major in a museum, carefully pointing out the flaws in their work while sipping wine and mumbling "hmph, fucking hacks, I've seen better" is not only pointless and self-defeating - not only does it make you sound like a smug cunt, it actually spurs on these people and encourages them to ween even more. "Admonishing" them causes the problem you are complaining about.

Do you think Gamerfood would still be spamming Jace's chat every single stream if there wasn't the occasional CWCki Fine Arts Trolling Critic constantly posting in the chat to remind them that spamming swastikas is played out? Like they forgot or something, like they're going to slap themselves on the head and go "Ah geeze, what a novice mistake! That one guy thinks that's played out! I better change up my style to amuse him, because I am so fucking interested in amusing and entertaining these people rather than annoying them!"

Why in the world would Gamerfood et al. care that some "cwcki sperg" thinks it's played out when it gets a reaction? Getting a reaction is literally the only point. Gamerfood hasn't even been targeting Jace for months. Instead, they've been trolling in an intentionally repetitive and boring manner, targeting the people here who can't help themselves but chime in whenever anyone calls him and plays a nasheed over the phone. And it's been working great for them because of the kind of thing that happens in this thread.

I don't care how angry you are, or how much you totally don't care, or how you're not mad. That's not even the point. The point is that Internet mongoloids are going to read your complaining and take it as positive encouragement. "Mad" is a blanket term.

Pvt was an exception to this rule because he was clearly looking for validation - but the only reason that our reaction even worked is because he was closely integrated to the forums and thus cared about our FINE CRITICISM. Someone outside this forum literally does not give two fucks what we think and in fact probably enjoys watching us winge about how lame their trolling skills are. You're pouring gasoline on a raging flame over and over again then getting mad that the "water" isn't putting the fire out. Hint: it's not water.

I'm not naive enough to think I can stop people from complaining. I have been in a staff position long enough to know that not even the infinite power of Christ can stop the unstoppable force of people's desire to bitch about things on forums. It would be like trying to block out the sun or erase the law of gravity from existence.

It falls under the rule because half of this thread has been people complaining about the same thing over and over again. None of those posts actually got replies, none of them advanced the discussion or were interesting. They were just people saying the same thing over and over again, monologuing to an empty room. Saying you dislike an idea is fine, drowning out the rest of the thread with your dislike is kind of cumbersome. That's the reason for the post: a warning so that the complaining didn't continue to get louder and louder and drown out actual discussion.

TL;DR: People complain loudly, are politely asked to tone it down, and then complain slightly quieter about how they are not allowed to complain loudly. Can we get back to talking about how Jace is autistic now?
