Well to understand it, imo you just realize Becky's family is white trash in its fullest manifestation.

This is the long and the short of it. Becky's tales of opossums in the chicken coop, dead relatives, and teen pregnancy show that her family is the trashiest of white trash. They are all exploiting Amberlynn's youtube success. Big Ambs is buying them garbage. Becky and her living relatives are dumb as dirt, but they know not to kill the goose who laid the golden egg.

Becky is clearly engaging in enabling behavior towards AL and her food addiction, and whether this is due to AL emotionally abusing and manipulating her into certain aspects of it, a natural tendency on Becky's part to engage in certain aspects of it, or if certain aspects are fueled by Becky's desire to commiserate with AL due to Becky's own disordered relationship with food is something Becky would need to work through with a professional therapist/addiction councillor to get to the bottom of.

None of the above. Becky wants the life that comes with 'round the clock feeding duty for a hippo. What else could Becky be doing? Amberlynn gives her relatively little, but it is more than Becky would have if she had to pay rent and bills. Becky is what we in the business call a "loser." You must never forget this. But while Amber is not a top notch predator, she is brilliant at being a parasitical addict. Tapeworms marvel at her skills once she has embedded herself into a plentiful intestine. She has made sure her host feels absolutely responsible for her. She has no identification so Becky knows Amber will have tons of trouble traveling alone - from buying bus and airline tickets to getting a hotel, you need valid ID. She can't sign a lease, cannot book a long-term residential room at the worst roach motel with weekly rates. Amber cannot drive yet owns the car Becky uses. Amber had mobility when she moved in with Becky but she gained weight so quickly that she's now virtually disabled and relies on Becky to do everything, probably up to and including cleaning her body and wiping her ass. To further enmesh herself with Becky, she encouraged Becky to quit her job and become financially dependent. The only kink in her chain is that Becky has friends who live with her so she has not been able to completely isolated but she still feels responsible for Amber's every bodily function while feeling economically dependent on her.

The analogy of Amber as a parasitical tapeworm is so perfectly stated, @Dog Prom 3D ! It's so true. Becky does have more power in this situation than she realizes, but like any dysfunctional relationship, people stick around for all kinds of irrational, impractical reasons. Mostly fear-based. It's hard to start over. It's hard, even when you've got some things going for you, like looks or personality or ambition. Becky's one and only redeeming quality may be her kinder nature. She doesn't appear to be a selfish, narcissistic sociopath that regularly Googles things like 'what does empathy feel like?' Or "tips and tricks for crying on camera." So, that's a plus!

But even if Becky does find the courage to leave at some point, it's not gonna be easy or comfortable for awhile. She has to undo a lot of bad habits and push through the mental block of not feeling good enough before the quality of her life will measurably improve. But still. She would be so much better for it. AL, on the other hand, is totally and completely fucked if Becky ever grows a pair. That wasn't necessarily true 100 lbs ago, but it's true now.

Becky is not a victim. She saw Amberlynn as a way to avoid responsibility for the mere price of feeding and bathing a large smelly animal. I am not trying to defend a selfish landwhale. They equally use each other. Amberlynn wanted moron with no ambition to act as her servant. Becky wanted a sugarmomma to provide her with all the colored pencils and glitter she could ever need. Becky is there by choice. She cannot do any better.

Amberlynn could go straight and get one of the feeders who follow her to take her in if things ever got bad. She could go back to her worthless family who would love the extra income. What prospects does Becky have? Faget Eric might teach her how to get welfare? She might land herself another Kentucky whale lesbian and their combined income might be as high as $28,000? Becky has no personality and people quickly tire of her in the Amber vids. Turns out lumpy face dummy telling dead relative stories is not much of a draw on youtube.

So is this the anger stage of acceptance? We’ve seen years of denial, and now she’s furious with everyone around her and probably God as well.

IMO the "long talk" was an argument that escalated to physical violence. Amber is shooketh because Becky finally found her balls and reacted.

Not going out to eat afterwards and canceling Christmas vlogmas is Amber's way to punish Becky. It went as well as all the times Amber showed the haydurs wrong - I noticed in Eric's video that the 3 of them actually interact with one another when Amber isn't around and don't glue their eyes to whatever device they have in front of them.

I think that Eric and Becky were (trying to be) ironic when they said that Amber doesn't like pizza and hates the place they chose.

I also suspect that not uploading for a few days will actually work to "tame" Becky. If Becky doesn't check on Amber's socialblade, I'm sure Amber will let Becky know of the financial impact of not uploading* and she'll apologize.

*Earlier this year (around the time she bought the MacBook) Amber came up with a story about how her wifi was bad and/or she couldn't upload because she didn't have internet at Becky's sister's house. Like many of Amber's stories, this one was completely forgotten and she never again had trouble with the wifi.
I think Amber "took a break" from posting videos back then to "teach them a lesson" on how important her contribution$ to the household are. It worked back then, so she's doing it again now.

c) something happened the last time she was there (chair breaking? toilet breaking?) and she is too embarrassed to go back.

d) she literally is bed-bound or incontinent.

You don't think it's basically all of the above? She's a bed bound horrible bitch who in the past broke their furniture, doesn't fit into booths, reeks to high hell. She very likely screeched at the owners it was their fault her 600 pound lardrolls broke stuff, and that customers were requesting to be moved away from some one who reeked of unwashed body, fecal material, piss, unwashed clothes, necrotic tissue, and yeast infections.

This, and the fact Becky decided to go enjoy her birthday utterly threw Al into a panic.
