Whenever Chris gets sued, I always think of that classic video where he twirls around, points a Wiimote at the camera and smugly announces, "see you in KORT!" Little did Chris know at the time that he would, in fact, see a lot of people in KORT.

God, a Chris movie would be great in the right hands...
I wouldn't trust the rights to a skeevy collection agency, though.
A movie could never do it justice, hours of YouTube documentaries barely even managed to scratch the surface, he was nowhere near the tranny phase.

With a judgment, they could levy Chris's bank accounts. Social security is exempt. Everything else is not. It would be annoying for Chris and not very fruitful for the company, but they could do it.

Typically, this is the point at which an agreement to pay becomes formalised into a court order and if Chris defaults on that then escalating options might be pursued.

Do creditors ever attach PayPal accounts? That could really cause problems. I think most of Chris's attachable income comes through PayPal.

They're not supposed to do that knowingly, but if you commingle the SS funds and other funds in the same account, they have no idea of knowing what's in the account they're attaching. Also, some collection firms aren't particularly scrupulous and will do it whether or not they know and then lie about it afterwards.

If you really want it to stick, you should set up an entirely separate account for the tard bucks and use it for nothing else, so that it can't be "accidentally" attached like that.

We always say "the IRS doesn't have the time or need to comb through Chris's financials" but you can bet a 'fuck you, pay me' collection agency does. I guarantee there's no form of white trash money laundering they haven't seen before. Disability doesn't mean shit to these companies, in fact I'd wager SSDI folks make up a good chunk of their clientele. Just from reading kiwi farms I get the distinct impression that like %90 of the non-elderly SSDI recipients are some form of scam artist.

One interesting thing - possible :powerlevel: warning - that I learnt from my time working with the civil service is that, in court, 'legally' changed names and names changed by deed poll don't mean shit. You go to court, then the barristers etc will address you as 'Mr Shitname, born John Bloggs Smith' and there ain't nothing you can do about it except fume. To the Law, there are NO deadnames. It's not that much of an ass. Not sure if it's different in the States, mind.
Not a lawyer but I do know that changing your name legally does not absolve you of previous obligations and what not. Granted unless you're a former gold medalist who decided to become a tranny freak after you killed people on the road but that's another thing entirely.

Any thing you've done in the past, sticks to your legal history.

I'd love to see Chris try some sort of SOVCIT scheme where he attempts to transfer all his debts to "Christian"
You know, he oddly would be one of the more pleasant SovCits out there if he joined their retarded ass ranks.

Chris is like a lot of Americans, where he can pretty much make the minimums but can't deal with emergencies (the cars) because he never plans for the future. When they come up the equilibrium falls apart.
Yeah I don't get people who just spend spend spend. It's crazy how little people think of the future. I've had friends who are shocked I have an 800+ FICO score and that I've got a decent savings set aside for the future and any problems. I have a friend who makes twice as much as me but is in way more debt. He honestly doesn't understand how to save money.

Yeah, they're the target of people like this.

Things would be better for Chris if he does not commingle his social security and not social security funds. I do not know if anyone's Patreon money has ever been garnished yet. Probably. It is very public. It comes up on first page of both google and bing if you search "Christine Weston Chandler."

Attaching accounts is not the worst part of this. When Chris starts begging, people will realize that they have paid for this already. They gave him money in the past, he blew it on magic beans, and now he needs more money.
depends if his Paypal is linked to his bank account or not

The thing is, at least where I am... is that the government money is put on a card. Like you don't tell the government where/what bank it goes to. They put it on a card, for a bank account they set up. You want that money as cash? You have to withdraw it from an ATM, and then put it into another bank account. Now it might not be like this in other states, but it's an easy as fuck way for the government to pay out benefits etc. It's all digitally done etc. Now unless his place is different, this system means Chris is very likely withdrawing his money, putting it into a bank account, and then spending it from there. Which makes sense if he's using credit cards etc. It also means if he isn't putting it all in at once he'd have a devil of a time proving it's not other income.

Also this is why you never get so bad debt collectors come after you, it stands to ruin your life. Thanks to Chris we will now possibly have a chance to see this ongoing and maybe kids will learn!

As far as I'm aware this is incorrect. I get SSI and when I first got benefits, yes they gave me a card through some company to use, but I just gave them my banks information and immediately started receiving direct deposit. SSI and SSDI are federal programs so there shouldn't be any variance from state to state.

Yeah whatever happened to the YouTuber that was doing the comprehensive Chris Chan documentary?? Last I heard all the videos and his channel were removed from yourself, forcing him to move to Vimeo. Did he just decide to quit?? Or is there plans to continue the series in the future?
