But...it hasn't been two weeks in your case.I'm sure that everyone who ordered them actually wants them. It's just seeming like we're never going to get them. To put this in perspective, on the same day that I ordered the medallion, I also ordered a custom piece of \M/ETAL artwork. He said that it would probably take two weeks to create too. I already have the \M/ETAL artwork though (which was much harder to make) while Chris doesn't even have the money to send out the medallion. I honestly think that everyone should open a case against Chris as that will likely get his ass in gear.
Well it is your mistake for opening up the case to begin with, isn't it? Seems like Chris would win this particular case.
PumpkinSwirl ordered it on the 14th. Two weeks is the 28th. So Chris has several days. Or am I missing something here?If Chris shipped the thing to PumpkinSwirl by 9/26, the promised ship-by date, then Chris might win the case. Note that Chris's correspondence doesn't discuss that as an option.
Chris stated he would ship Lynx's on the 1st of October. To coincide with the tugboat I assume. Which is past the shipping expectation date. So all claims for refund would be valid, right?PumpkinSwirl ordered it on the 14th. Two weeks is the 28th. So Chris has several days. Or am I missing something here?
like I said, it wasn't my intention, and Chris being Chris set the delivery estimate to some time last week, which caused the case to open up automatically when I sent this message. and now Chris is trying to tell me that it'll be shipped over five days later than it's supposed to be (the 1st rather than the 26th).Well it is your mistake for opening up the case to begin with, isn't it? I've already said that I'm going to do anything until the 10th of October.PumpkinSwirl ordered it on the 14th. Two weeks is the 28th. So Chris has several days. Or am I missing something here?

Yeah, if he filed the claim on the 26th. You can't file a claim prematurely, which puts a stop on the money, and then be entitled to have the item shipped to you.Chris stated he would ship Lynx's on the 1st of October. I see what you are saying now, the claim is before the 26th.Yeah, if he filed the claim on the 26th. You can't file a claim prematurely, which puts a stop on the money, and then be entitled to have the item shipped to you.
You're missing thatPumpkinSwirl ordered it on the 14th. Two weeks is the 28th. So Chris has several days. Or am I missing something here?
except it wasn't a premature claim. Like I said, Chris set the delivery estimate too low, which tells ebay that I should have been expecting the item from tuesday-friday last week (9/16-9/19). on ebay you can set the handling time on items higher if you're going to be needing more time before shipping, which would increase the delivery estimate accordingly. chris didn't do that which is why it opened the claim for me when I sent the message. and since I don't know if the medallions will actually ever be shipped or if chris will just continue buying more legos and shitting himself, then I'm not going to throw away my only chance for a refund just because it happened before chris or myself wanted it to.Yeah, if he filed the claim on the 26th. I know it was an accident on your part, and I feel for your position, but Chris hasn't broken any agreement yet while you are stopping his ability to follow through with said agreement. Stuff about his loans and whatever aren't really germane to the transaction, neither for him nor for you. So, I side with Chris on this one.like I said, it wasn't my intention, and Chris being Chris set the delivery estimate to some time last week, which caused the case to open up automatically when I sent this message. and now Chris is trying to tell me that it'll be shipped over five days later than it's supposed to be (the 1st rather than the 26th).
i'm not trying to a-log or ween or whatever the terminology is when people do stuff to chris that he doesn't like. I'm sorry it creates a difficult situation for Chris, but maybe he shouldn't have dropped all of his money and acquired a loan to buy a car without setting aside funds to fulfill his end of the contracts he made with 30+ buyers.
but i'm not stopping anything. there wasn't any money in his paypal for him to ship anyway (by his own admission - the "emergency insurance payment").I know it was an accident on your part, and I feel for your position, but Chris hasn't broken any agreement yet while you are stopping his ability to follow through with said agreement. Overall, people need to just chill until he's past his deadline. You owed him that when you pressed "buy."
"Emergency."
Was this car loan forced at gunpoint?
Yeah.I see what you are saying now, the claim is before the 26th.
Is the fact that Chris's only funds being tied to paypal considered relevant to the situation? I don't know how eBay would factor that into the claim. If anything that would just be more ammo for the buyer to use against the seller.
lynx powiedział(a):turns out that automatically opens up a case against him and freezes the funds involved in the transaction until the dispute is settled. oops.

He couldn't have defaulted as it's not the 26th yet.I myself would have waited until the 26th to file, but it isn't going to matter in this case because Chris's response admits to defaulting on the original arrangement.
i do get where you're coming from, but in the end it makes little difference. whether I sent the message today, Friday, the next day, or next week, the case still would have opened when the message was sent, and the end result would be the same - Chris is upset.I know it was an accident on your part, and I feel for your position, but Chris hasn't broken any agreement yet while you are stopping his ability to follow through with said agreement.
