Fuck me that artist hits like a hammer. I can kind of forgive it though, as Hooves looks to have difficult skin.

From seeing this I'd almost definitely call it a dirty needle/cross contamination within the studio jobby. There's no surface dirt or irritation bar tightness of the skin and slight swelling of the limb, and for it to look the way it does at day five, that's the only way I can see that this has happened.

It might even have been something as simple as the artist forgetting to change his gloves during an ink/needle change or bathroom break, and then locking the contamination in with the cling film for a few hours. We'll never know!

I love the Farms for that too, so many knowledgeable sausages on here almost all the 'tism and shitposting!
Mind you, only a SMALL portion of Phils ink is actually from the artist here in Portland.
The vast majority of it is by Sonju Rattler from Tattoo 13 in Oakland.
But you're not entirely wrong though, because the vast majority of his ink looks like the sort of ink that some of the people I work with have, that they had done 30+ years ago or did at home when they were younger. Not brand new and fresh, which it looks like BOTH of Phils major tattoo artists are more than capable of doing, judging by their galleries.

While they're not exactly mindblowing artists, i'm confident to say that they're not exactly scratchers, either.

And to no surprise of I imagine anyone, ever... not a single piece of Phil ink can be seen in either artist gallery.
Go figure.

EDIT:
I forgot to add this really important part, @Chanbob, the weekend after the tattoo, according to Phils calendar that he posted for everyone to see, he was supposed to spend the entire weekend cleaning his apartment.

And if you remember correctly, it's pretty philty(hahahaha, see wut i did), so could that have contributed as well? Or is the only real feasible cause have something to do with the tatt shop?

Did some quick googling and I say its a cutaneous ulceration due to an allergic reaction to the white ink.

Also this article may suggest that Phil has Crohns disease (lol)

Here are some similar pictures of allergic reactions to tattoo ink. If this was something other than white ink the end result might look real bad but that area is going to look like garbage for at least 4 weeks

Don't speculate when you have no evidence or proof itherwise. His tattoo artist in Portland is a trans man and is capable of some great inkwork. As is the shop itself.

This reaction/infection is SOLELY due to Phil's lack of basic hygiene and the fact that the VERY NEXT DAY after getting the tattoo, he wasn't keeping it covered, moisturized, or clean.

He is a profoundly filthy individual, and it's not just contained to things like crapped briefs (a-la cwc). In the vast majority of his tattoo photos, there is a always a super evident patch of clean skin where the ink is going and the noticeable filth on the unwashed areas.

How have Phil's other tattoos survived is the real question here. I doubt he really takes care of any body modifications he has (like tattoos and piercings). Seriously, taking care of a new tattoo is not that fuckin hard. It's easier to take care of than a piercing.

The human body can do amazing things in order to adapt to unwelcome situations. But I guess this shite was the straw that broke the camel's back when it comes to ol' Izzy Hell here.

I had a family member combat this staph shit due to a weak immune system, it got pretty nightmarish and it had affected over 80% of their body. Not MRSA but still aggressive.

This is the first time Ive ever seen him get a tattoo with white ink and it probably is the first time. Its an allergic reaction.

His main problem is that with the filth he lives in, what would be a bad skin condition he would need to go to a dermatologist to treat, he will now probably have to go to the hospital because its going to get infected.

You bring up a pretty good point, so I decided to do a quick bit of digging.
I just finished skimming through all of the pictures I have since 2015 of his tattoos, and it looks like he's had 3-4 different tattoos before this most recent one that have had white in them.
But, with that said, I believe all of those other ones were from Sonju down in Oakland.
Which means that it's more than likely that it's a different ink being used between the two studios.

This is fascinating. How I managed to overlook Phil on this board is a mistake I will spend the night rectifying.

That infected area of the tat looked like cheese from the moment it was finished. An antibiotic resistant infection is nothing to fuck with. If that’s what it is and it hits his bloodstream, he won’t be able to ignore it, but he’ll also be too weak and sick to do much caring about what’s going on. He’ll need some help if it gets to that point as the fatigue it causes is overwhelming. Hope he has people around..

How cute, he's trying to make us feel guilty over how he basically is going to ensure he fucking drops dead by his own negligent hygiene.

What's he gonna do, put it in his will about how the Kiwis caused his death because we didn't pay for a life saving medical operation, all the while he inexplicably is able to afford GRS?
This was my takeaway, and I'm a little confused here.
Like bro man, are you trying to hold yourself hostage unless we pay you a ransom?
Because I think you're overestimating the perceived value of your wellbeing here.
$100 fucking dollars to save some hobo? Bruh, I'm not entirely sure I'd pay a half pack of cigarettes to save your life. Let's start small here before we go straight for the $100 bucks thing.
You don't deliver OPL quality content, you don't make OPL money.

Even Chris Chan can make money with his scribbles. Whats Phil's excuse?

Maybe he's trying to get money out of us by putting a value of money on his life.

Of course, if he's only worth $100 by his own estimate then the literal ink in his body is worth more than his own self-estimate of worth regarding his life. And that ink may or may not be poisoning his blood right now.
