Wasn't Trump pushing hard for Strange during the primary? If he had just shut the fuck up for 5 minutes and not enthusiastically endorsed Uncle Roy at the last second, he'd look pretty smart right now. Instead he banked on the loser... twice.
 
Moore lost so we get right wing salt cuz Alabama is a right wing state.
If Moore would have won, we woulda got left wing salt cuz the allegations against him.
What I'm saying is it was a win-win for us.

I think it's been so long that you've forgotten just how insufferable they are when it happens. Hell, literally nothing unexpected happened this past November, and they still tried to spin it like they won a war or something for holding 2 seats that have been blue forever, and beating Chris Christie's replacement in a state which *has* been pretty solid blue for decades now.

So to explain why this is such bad news and why people are angry at Steve Bannon

While Chief of Staff, Bannon made the decision to pull Jeff Sessions from his Alabama Senate Seat to be the head of the Department of Justice. That is why there is a special election.

The Human Tumor McCain and the Human Turtle McConnell are essentially fake Republicans and hate Trump's platform, so Senate votes are very, very close all the time and less productive than they would be if McCain and McConnell weren't useless.

The decision to pull Session, who is very unpopular even on T_D for his racism and hard anti-drug stance against Marijuana, from his safe senate seat which has now flipped Dem is a fucking massive punch in the face. It's a genuinely disgustingly poor move for Trump's platform.

If 2018's elections go likewise against Trump, the 2nd half of his presidency will be utterly inconsequential.
 
I love how McConnell threw Bannon under the bus with lightning speed. The salt hasn't even begun.
