I was very curious to read more about the KIDS act, because I wanted to know what it was. The version that's been pushed forward by the house is summarized as follows by govtrack.
Kids Internet and Digital Safety Act or the KIDS Act

This bill requires specified online platforms to establish safeguards for minors. The safeguards include (1) limiting access to specified sexual material, (2) providing parental controls on social media and online video game platforms, and (3) requiring artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots to disclose certain information to users who are minors.

First, publicly available online platforms on which more than one-third of the content is considered sexual material harmful to minors under the bill must adopt technology to identify minors and prevent them from accessing such material.

Next, social media platforms must (1) implement default settings for minors that limit compulsive usage features and the ability of other users to communicate with minors, and (2) provide tools for parents to manage the privacy and account settings of a minor. Social media platforms may not allow ephemeral messaging features for minors.

The bill also requires online video game platforms to provide tools that allow parents to (1) limit communication between a minor and other users of the platform, and (2) restrict purchases by a minor on the platform.

Further, providers of AI chatbots must disclose to users who are minors (1) that the chatbot is an AI system and not a human, and (2) suicide and crisis intervention hotline information.

Finally, the bill requires specified studies and reports about the effects of social media platforms on minors and provides for enforcement of the bill's requirements by the Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general.

But I haven't yet gotten through most of the bill. It's quite long, but IF this is all it's going to do, why exactly do I care? Porn sites and onlyfans would be required to make it REALLY impossible for people to use them, and would otherwise create a gooner database. Video Games are pretty much just required to have the ability for parents to set up controls to change how kids can interact with randoms (and if you've seen roblox, you'd know THIS in particular would be a good thing), and finally they make AIs tell you they're not real people, and instead of encouraging you to kill yourself like that one AI did to that kid, they just give you suicide hotline info instead.

I'm going to do my best to read through it, but preliminarily this looks very defanged, and more like regulation of the major corporations and porn content rather than an online ID bill as it's been touted. Again, though, I'm gonna have to give it a more thorough reading.
 
The future of a nation-state is more important than any individual one of us, and if a certain group of individuals, let's use a different example here and say, Jews, are in positions of power and using those positions of power to make bad decisions consistently, you should not be surprised when people who see the group making bad decisions when they are put into power saying that the people from that group, even if innocent or non-problematic people get swept up, should be allowed to participate in the power-holding process.
I'm not quite sure what you're saying here. A rational population would recognize the good and bad and neglect the bad, either by ignoring the products of a bad private business (Buzzfeed as a random example) or electing an alternate candidate for public office. People still have an option to choose. In the private sector a business that makes poor decisions should go out of business. An elected official that makes bad decisions should not be reelected.
 
Since women's lib universally has resulted in the cratering of birthrates, devolution of the family structure, and ticking time bomb economically for every society across the globe and throughout history that has tried it, I'm not sure if the proven juice is worth the squeeze from choices women make when they get to be sovereign.

And in the private sector, if you hire someone who makes bad decisions at your company routinely, YOU are the one who is removed, and potentially regulation is put in place for who you can hire to that position. I can't remove the voting population of America from making bad voting decisions. What I can advocate for is a pool of people who make BETTER decisions for the country, on average.

If a massive portion of a problem comes from one group voting to make that problem a thing, the problem should be solved.

The comparison here that a private sector business goes out of business if it makes bad decisions is surprisingly apt, though, because that's what would happen to a country, too. A country that makes too many bad decisions will be destroyed. As you may have noticed, I am highlighting what I personally believe to be a long-term bad decision, and I can point to many past events that back up my thoughts on the matter. I don't particularly want the country where I, my family, and all my shit is to be destroyed because people made bad decisions to make other people feel better.

No I'm not pretending. You said that when people see Jews in power making bad decisions, then those people when they're put into power will say that all Jews should be allowed to participate. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
There is a difference between subject the noun and subject the verb. I am a subject of the United States, I am subject to the laws of Taiwan because I live in their jurisdiction, but I am not a subject of Taiwan. Same logic to why natives were exempt dispite being subject to US legal jurisdiction they were recognized as being subjects of their own tribal nations rather than the US.

The Wong Kim Ark decision (and iirc (maybe) the dissent) includes a fair amount of background information about the circumstances/ decisions/ legislative history/ thought processes around 14A. And that made clear that 14A birthright was not just for former slaves, regardless of the instigation for it. .
I think you're probably right, or at the very least I'm with you in not holding my breath for the current court to undo birthright citizenship. However, I have a different view on the legal merits: namely I am really biased so it's easy for me to just ignore any evidence that the drafters of the 14th amendment intended it to create the legal reality of birthright citizenship as it is understood now, or that the language makes such a reading inescapable. But more importantly, the evidence of Roe v Wade demonstrates that the Supreme Court can just rule completely retarded nonsense in pursuit of some policy goal, and that is what I would like to have happen. The idea that the Congress might resolve the legal issues in question, especially by the passage of an amendment to the Constitution, is honestly orders of magnitude more absurd than the idea that the Supreme Court ought to just make what is good happen by writing down a bunch of legal words and then saying that whoever is the president can do whatever was the unconstitutional thing he wanted to do. The Senate would, in fact, be a crucial part of this plan, because they will rubber stamp the "conservative" hack justices who write these stupid opinions that allow us to stop being fucking retarded and disenfranchise, expropriate, and depopulate brown invaders.

Not later than 1 year after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall establish the Kids Internet Safety Partnership.

(b) Director
The Secretary shall appoint a Director to be the head of the Partnership.

(c) Duties
The duties of the Partnership shall be the following:

(1) Coordinate with relevant agencies (including the Commission) and stakeholders to identify the following:

(A) The risks for minors with respect to the use of websites, online services, online applications, and mobile applications.

(B) The benefits for minors with respect to the use of websites, online services, online applications, and mobile applications.

(C) Widely accepted or evidence-based best practices, taking into account minors of different ages, to—
(i) address the risks identified under subparagraph (A); and
(ii) preserve and enhance the benefits identified under subparagraph (B).

(2) Not later than 1 year after the date on which the Partnership is established, and every 2 years thereafter, publish on a publicly available website a report that details—

(A) the identifications made under paragraph (1); and

(B) the efficacy and adoption by websites, online services, online applications, and mobile applications of—
(i) safeguards for minors; and
(ii) parental tools.

(3) Not later than 2 years after the date on which the Partnership is established, publish on a publicly available website a playbook for providers and developers of websites, online services, online applications, and mobile applications to facilitate the implementation of widely accepted or evidence-based best practices that account for minors of different ages and address the risks identified under paragraph (1)(A) and preserve and enhance the benefits identified under paragraph (1)(B), including best practices with respect to the following:

(A) Age verification, assurance, and estimation techniques.

(B) Design features.

(C) Parental tools.

(D) Default privacy and account settings.

(E) Reporting systems and tools.

(F) Third-party safety software services.

(G) Limitations and opt-outs related to personalized recommendation systems and chatbots.
The KIDS Act creates a special team appointed by the Secretary of Commerce to regulate the internet and dictate what websites are "too dangerous" for children. This will not just apply to porn websites. The second a Democrat gets in office they will absolutely use this to rape us all to death. Any and all wrongthink against globohomo will cease to exist online.

You should already be well aware that any legislation purported to be for "protecting the heckin childrunz" will be used to strip away our freedoms in the long term.

Honestly if women didn’t consistently make executive decisions affecting people’s lives and the future of the nation solely on if those decisions lead to their demihuman rape fantasies, it would be a lot easier to justify the power and freedom they are given. But as it stands, we are perpetually at risk of a scenario where society collapses and we will have to choose between woman’s rights and being able to live another day.

Well in that case I will be against it and argue that it doesn't abide by the very first part of this list, which talks about how to get your website censored, you need to have at least 1/3rd of your content be pornographic in nature, and for that to be a known purpose of the website.
