we have used analogies for the Trinity since the first century. The terms Father, Son and Holy Spirit are analogous in themselves

Some American Protestants denominations didn't believe in the trinity until fairly recently. For example, the 7th Day Adventist General Conference adopted the trinity in 1980, although many preachers wouldn't dare to preach about it until the late 2000's. The concept of the trinity seems to me to be much like dark matter in physics. Theologians were building a consistent theological framework, but there were some anomalies that didn't fit. They resolved these problems by bundling them up in a black box and call it done. When you try investigating the black box, you run into the original problems that have no resolution in the existing framework.

It's a divine revealed truth that we can attest both from Scripture and Tradition
it's integral to Christianity both because it is the inner life of God and who God is, and hence, who we worship

Christ is the Logos. All this posturing and you couldn't even read Chapter 1 of St John's Gospel?

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (St John 1:14)

This is also satisfying to me because it literalizes the grafting metaphor of Jesus being the vine, a bit. Adam and Eve's decision to sin (metaphor: man becoming psychologically complex enough to become rational moral agents and thus fall out of perfect alignment with cosmic order) means that they became crooked, so to speak.

these are titles for specific Persons of the Trinity or God as a being. Not different gods or different multiple other persons within one God

I’ll be real I steer away from debating theology because I know for a fact that I’m dumb as shit and there’s a lot more people a whole lot smarter than me who spent their entire lives thinking on these questions.
And the worst part is that they were also arguing with each other, it can be quite hard to parse out metaphysics.
At the end of the day I really think that what you do is more important than your opinions, at least to a certain extent. But hey, it’s not up to me I’m just a guy.
