My favorite part of the GTA 6 Dent Civil War was when Phil started bitching about some ancient faggot simulator Tekken x Streetfighter offering an extra dlc pre-order bonus. It was total bullshit to Phil that you had to pay more for extra content- the true experience. It’s why the game failed, quite frankly. Then he pointed out that GTA wasn’t doing that, they were just packaging micro-transactions which is bullshit.

I guess to this angry old man the only reason to ever charge extra for a videogame is if they give you a shiny collector style cardboard box or toy.

Phil truly is the king of the goy.
 
Just a reminder that while Phil is whining about people being "tricked into a subscription service" by Rockstar, the valedictorian himself signed up for EA Origin on a free trial, forgot to cancel it before it charged his credit card, then bitched about it when the trial expired and EA charged him.

Dude was literally like 1, 2 clicks away from signing up for nexus mods premium when he downloads like 2 mods a year before his dents managed to warn him off it. (I don't entirely disagree with his Rockstar take though, fuck gay scammy subscription services)

He did, which fucking sucks, because it was the indirect cause of one of the top 5 funniest moments that have ever happened in the snortex. He used it to receive a private $1k donation from some dent, but neither of them realized that it would show on DSP's page on the streamlabs website.

The next day some detractor on a sock account came into his Twitch chat and said "Hey man, grats on the $1k!" Mods tried to ban him, which on Twitch automatically deletes all of that user's messages from chat, but the dude had immediately deleted his account, which prevented them from banning him. DSP mod had to clear chat because DSP didn't want people to know that he received a private $1k donation.

The next next day Phil had a long, nonsensical explanation for why he got the money and what it was for, including saying that the tip was supposed to be anonymous (which makes no sense because Streamlabs shows your username on the leaderboard).

Good thing he's honest with his audience and doesn't sugarcoat.

"Funny cuz it worked when I did it 11 years ago!" Yeah? And? That was OVER A DECADE AGO. You think if you play Heavy Rain you're gonna get a bunch of new dents who think it's the funniest thing ever made? Plus, for as cringe and gay and unfunny as he has always been at least with the old playthroughs you can tell he's trying. It's something that is approaching entertainment at least, even if it isn't actually entertaining, and I can see how someone young or retarded might think it's funny. But this? It's either silence, begging, whining, or asking chat for help.

It's the same line of thinking that if people wanted him to play a new game at launch or a decade ago they should be just as excited and support just as much if he plays it years and years after it stops being relevant. He truly believes people are there to see him and not the games.

Which is true for most creators, to some extent. I have watched many videos about things I didn't give a shit about until I saw the video. Unfortunately for Phil he's the most repellant and unlikeable faggot on YouTube so all that leaves people with is wanting to see a particular game.



Looks like the moobs are still alive and well. And man, his legs are skinnier than Meerkat's! Honestly his build is kind of impressive. How do get cancer patient legs, "regular" fatty arms, tits and a gin gut, a melting ghoul face and the completion of a vampire (minus the rosacea from the drinking). Oh that's right you just need to be a completely raped, estrogenated alcoholic shut in that survives on DoorDash and frozen food.

Yeah, it's true for people with charisma. I can listen to Wubby or Jerma talk about something I have zero interest in because they're likeable and entertaining. DSP is like concentrated anti-charisma.

Street Fighter X Tekken got a lot of flack because the game had a couple hundred dollars’ worth of DLC, but the content for the DLC was almost all just 100kb keys to unlock things that were on the disc already. That sort of thing was very common in the 360/PS3 generation, but SF X T took it to an egregious extreme.

I remember the "On disc DLC" fiasco, even as tourneys banned them in the short term. It's a shame, because I thought the game was really good, and the outrage might have been what killed Tekken x SF outright.

Anyway, FUCK YOU PHIL. Ironically, you're toxic on any community you touch. You make the FGC, let's play, food review, poketuber, etc. communities worse by existing in it.

That Kordtverg drama always makes me wonder because it was very unusual...

Kordtverg tipped $100 during a day stream for Phil's wedding at the time, with his name, not anonymously. Then the same name Kordtverg supposedly did another $1000 tip that night which put him at $1100 on the top of the Streamlabs leaderboard (which Phil already hid to where you needed to click around to see it).

Mods scrambled immediately to hide any tracks of this $1000 tip, and the Streamlabs leaderboard was immediately removed, as you say.

Then Phil's explanation the next day was that Kordtverg didn't do that $1000 tip, someone else did. But he got the money and he needed that money for his wedding. It was complete nonsense that just added to the confusion.

This is the main impetus for some of my schizo theories that a lot of DSP's channel is money laundering, which completely goes against Phil's usual ways of being a pussy that abides the law to the extreme.

Here’s one to ponder: Would DSP getting into the Smash Brothers “Community” elevate either side of the equation, or make them even worse?
