All in all I think it's poetic justice for Hambly's parents that they spent decades brow-beating and threatening teachers, coaches, counsellors etc to give Jeremy special treatment, and their reward in the end was him completely ignoring their deaths and not even attending their funerals.

Where Jeremy's awe-inspiring business accumen really shines isn't that he throws money to solve problems. That's common as fuck, to some degree for decision-makers, for better or worse. The dude effectively dumps vast resources into something at the start while putting in zero effort. However, after he stops dumping said resources, he expects it to be a smooth-sailing and successful operation, regardless of whether or not or was ever a functional operation in the first place. There are many things that Jeremy does where you go "I can't believe the gall of this dude to say XYZ", but him critiquing other business (or espousing his business successes) is definitely high up there because it's obvious how out of his depth Jeremy is when discussing business strategy or operations.

Being a YouTuber with the highs he has had who apparently hasn’t put anything away is absolutely insane, but it is pretty clear from the way he speaks he doesn’t have a good grasp on finances.
He also mentioned he would be putting some of the money into a 401k, but I thought you had to be an employee of a company to contribute to a 401k. If you are self employed it would be an IRA.
