I guess that's understandable enough, but the results just look retarded to anyone who isn't a TES regular with thin skin, as you eluded to.
Consider this, the forum has a very cutthroat attitude towards members getting phonebooked. If I were to deduce your identity, and make a thread where I expose your full government name, home address, workplace, and the social media of your entire family to the website, it would be allowed. It would be encouraged, even. There's an entire thread dedicated to laughing at people who have had this happen to them. At the end of the year, you could be in the running for an award for "funniest opsec failure", and none of the mods would do jack shit to stop me. If anything, they'd encourage it.
However, if I were to simply take a screenshot of a TES post and post it here, they would throw a fit. They would tell me to "grow up", threaten to ban me, and make it clear that merely discussing a TES post is over the line, and forbidden. Anyone with eyes to see can tell you that this is a ludicrous double standard. If leftoids can't handle being disagreed with, they have no business being here. If the price of growing the forum is instituting a caste system where leftoids are above criticism, then he's likely to lose rightoid users. We've all seen this play out a dozen times before. "Let's drastically change our niche thing so that it appeals to normies! Oops, the normies still aren't interested, and now the original userbase has moved on. Fun while it lasted, I guess."
