Iran Crisis & the 2026 War between Iran and the United States, Gulf States, and Israel - Please focus on news and coverage, not argumentation.

Hardliner news agency Tasnim News is pissed at Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei for flip-flopping claims on the passage of the SOH and calls out Araghchi for not enforcing the MOU.

The Israeli's are calling Bibi a loser cuck.
Republicans are calling Trump a loser cuck.
The hardliners are calling their leaders loser cucks.
I fucking love this. :story:
>Instead of denying, take action to close the strait

They will not close it will they?

They almost immediately came out and said the claim that the Strait was closed was fake news.

Famously, an Austrian theoretical physicist used the Strait of Hormuz's permeability as a thought experiment to illustrate Quantum Superposition

I don't understand how you guys blackpill so hard. Everytime doom and gloom happens a few days pass and the situation gets resolved and everyone moves onto the next apocalypse. Like at some point you need to notice the pattern and chill out. 🤷‍♂️
Is the pattern that nearly every major event leads to a small lowering of the quality of life of nearly everyone in the west? Is that what I'm supposed to chill out about?
This thread getting flooded with dozens of accounts I've never seen before who all updoot each other and have nothing to say is curious. Do these get coordinated somewhere else, or is it a coincidence?
April 2026 account bitching about other posters.

Its like you newfags just have to overcompensate by pretending that you've been here the whole time, apparently unawares that your join date is right there for all to see.

Oh yeah buddy we're making it to the big leagues.

On topic what will it look like assuming Iran doesn't violate the MOU? Going back to bombing anyways post midterms, or the investment fund successfully subverting Iranian industries? As sick as it would be to actually give the IRGC what it deserves, it'd be hard to start shit if your oil companies are owned by the Saudis and Americans, and all of your steel mills belong to Qatar.
I haven't seen much speculation on the concept.

I'm sure it'll all turn out well.
:optimistic:

There's, at most, a couple dozen of us that post regularly in Happenings so when a thread gets featured it gets flooded with low-info posters that do nothing but threadshit and then get mad when they get threadbanned. To them freedom of speech means screeching "nigger!" and "kike!" wherever they want. Many of them are /pol/ refugees who aren't used to having to contribute to threads in a meaningful way.

Israel is surprised pikachu face that Vance doesn't automatically support Israel no matter what. I predict that by 2040 there will be a viable presidential candidate that will run on be anti-Israel.

Houthis threaten the Zionist Entity with launching a couple of missiles that get intercepted if it does not leave Lebanon.

U.S. Intelligence agencies have warned the Trump administration that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may undermine President Donald Trump’s effort to reach a lasting peace deal with Iran.

This warning comes as Netanyahu faces intense political pressure to continue a military campaign in Lebanon, according to current and former U.S. officials.

Israel has no off-ramp

Bibi committed himself to a deathground. The only way out is forward now. The alternative is prison and the destruction of his political establishment. He is like Putin in this regard.

If Trump sincerely wants an end to the conflict (Or rather America's involvement) then he's going to have some VERY difficult decisions to make in the days to come.

Iranian MP states that President Peze has written a 6-point plan in case the US violates the MoU and will present it to the totally still alive and healthy Ayatollah.

The State Dept. has discussed holding negotiations with Iran in DC June 23-25.

i just now got to thinking but does israel feel any effects from the strait being closed? or is this one of those instances where since israel is smaller they need less of everything overall compared to somewhere like the united states or canada for example.
No.
None of their crude imports come from the gulf, iirc they source some special jet fuel from the UAE but I could be wrong and its likely a small amount.
Only the asia continent is reliant on the gulf.

Its shit like this that continues to stoke hatred for journos.

i think mojtaba might be alive but is either comatose due to his injuries (he was in the same compound as ali when he got ack'd by the first wave of airstrikes) or conscious but too severely injured to govern, at this point i'm pretty sure everyone knows in the back of their head that the IRGC security elite run Iran now, not the clerical class.

Iranian Army Soldier affirms they are in control of the Strait of Hormoz, not the gentlemen in suits and ties in Tehran or Washington.

He says: “Behind me is the Strait of Hormoz: The closest point to the mouth of the strait. This is our Persian Gulf. We are still here, in 55 degree humid heat, standing with our flesh, blood, and soul, far from our wives and children, and we will never abandon this place.”

He bravely says: “We are the ones who decide who passes through here, not the suit-wearers in Tehran sitting under air conditioners, and not those in Washington. We are here, and we say who goes and who comes.”

He says they will not let the blood of fallen comrades be wasted, urges people to stay in the streets, and promises that as long as the people don’t give up, they won’t abandon the Strait either.

“We have stood here until the last drop of our blood. As long as every one of us, the boys of the IRGC and the Army, are here, no one has the right to pass through. We will not make ourselves indebted to the blood of the boys and girls of Minab, and we will not allow their blood to be trampled.

People, stay in the field. Stay in the streets. We are here. If you do not abandon the streets, we will not abandon this place either. Rest assured.

By God, we are not regretful. By God, none of us is upset that we have been standing here for 100 days now. I am saying this: with our flesh and soul, with our blood, and as long as there is blood in our veins, we will stand here.

And we will firmly defend this Gulf and the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by the permission of Lady Fatimah Zahra, and by the permission of my leader, Imam Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei.

The traitors to the homeland should know: we are here as long as there is life in our bodies.”

Trump says he hit Iran because it was going to nuke Israel and Saudi Arabia. Four months ago I would have laughed at the idea of Iran nuking a Gulf country but after the war I think we can all agree that as soon as Iran gets a nuke Qatar, Bahrain, and/or UAE are getting hit.

Leader of the opposition Yair Lapid calls for the removal of Netanyahu's government from office over worsening relations with European partners:

In the past day, the U.S. Vice President got angry at a press conference over Smotrich and Ben Gvir, Foreign Minister Sa'ar cut ties with the European Union's foreign minister, and President Trump said Netanyahu is showing irresponsibility in Lebanon. If we don't quickly replace this government, Israel's foreign relations will be wiped out.
