They know they will never get US support again. We are going to completely leave the Middle East once the Strait of Homos is deprecated, and it can't happen fast enough. Israel needs US troops to die to activate American bloodlust and they can't do that if we sign a ceasefire and leave.
They will not calm down, there are 6 months of disrupted production, and there is a lag to restarting production, so, with less-than-optimal production, you have to satiate left-over demand. I believe you remember COVID, COVID was a bit more disruptive because it was global, but production was disrupted for less time, and yet we still got years of heightened oil prices. As I said before, the people that know their shit and inform investors about this shit place the normalization of oil prices at around mid 2027. The Trump Blockade and Casino closing its doors before the Straight of Homoz was demined was dumb idea. As was tying the Ceasefire's intactness to the requirement the Jews and Muslims don't kill each other as much for 8 weeks.
