life in China/life in Europe videos and seeing their clean ass train systems and nice cities with lots of parks and walkways and im so pissed off.
Japan's public transportation systems and its clean, walkable cities were some of the best parts of not living in the US. The real food was also amazing. The rest of the world isn't perfect, but the US could learn from other countries. Well, it should, but won't.
the “male loneliness epidemic” wouldn’t even be a thing or any other bullshit if we actually shifted spending from tax cuts for the rich to actually make life easier and better for Americans.
I agree, but many of the changes that would help get written off as "socialism," even though they aren't, and even if they were, they would still help. It would require actual planning with input from experts, and take multiple years to get started. And since people don't see immediate results, they just vote for the opposite party, and sabotage all future attempts, guaranteeing the plan will fail.
It would have to start with tax and budget changes, shifting resources and priorities, and placing emphasis on a single, main goal. Promising to fix everything, as Trump did, and then fix nothing, like Trump is doing, is the exact opposite of trying to solve issues. The president can't say he will refill the strategic oil reserve and then start a war that massively impacts the oil trade, and then withdraw even more oil from the reserve. He can't say he will secure the southern border from an invasion and deport all illegal immigrants, and then not deport all illegal immigrants because some of them are
wage slaves good ones. He can't say the US will stay out of the world's affairs because it's not our problem, then start shit with every country in the world and demand all others help him. Trump and his administration are the perfect examples of how not to lead. They constantly lie, and then lie more, and lie again. They ignore experts because they don't want to be told no. They do whatever they want, and anyone who opposes them is a "radical leftist" and the "enemy."
There's no unity. There's no "my fellow Americans." There's no
all of us. It's not about helping everyone thrive. It's about making others suffer, and if they suffer too, at least the people they hate are suffering with them. And the whole time, the rich and powerful don't care, because they are thriving.
