This post of your seems really defensive. I guess to answer your question, how the fuck should I know since nobody knows who the "anonymous source" is, and I very much doubt the administration wants to admit the navy hasn't accomplished what they wanted. It's odd that people would try and claim that the person in charge of the Navy would be fired during one of the largest US naval operations in memory, and it's "totally unrelated".

It's funny because when I posted about Hegseth firing the Army Chief of Staff a few weeks ago, the general consensus here was that it didn't matter since the Army wasn't involved in this non-war in Iran, it was primarily a naval operation. Update on my military parts job: We have been really slow for the past month. We get done with are jobs by the middle of the day for the most part. Now we have to go to the "other" side of the department that sucks to do. They always have jobs because it takes forever to do the shit and most of the parts they're hard to pass.
