It very likely is a coincidence, Smallville was a fairly popular show in its day. It averaged something like 4.5 million viewers an episode or something like that. It's definitely not a great show, but it had a pretty ardent following especially among people in specifically Jer's age range when the show started in 2002. I was looking at it too on google maps. It's a wannabe mega church in the making. I am going to dig more into the lead pastor but I found his Linkedin. Has a bit of experience in terms vocation.

However, Jeremy's chief problem is that he doesn't have a braking mechanism to curb his overindulgence. Whether it be food, alcohol, pills, consumerism, porn, or flaunting his clout and subs/views count, Jeremy seems incapable of moderation, let alone abstinence or humility.

I'm getting ready to leave town in a few days so my a-logging will be on pause but I know there are lots of clips from his recent livestreams (past 6 months or so) where Jerbo whines about stolen content on shorts that would pair nicely with this narrative if anyone wants to grab some low hanging fruit.
