There's also fucking China over on cheap energy, since they were getting very favorable, below market rates, from Iran and Venezuela and everyone benefits from keeping the Han bugmen down. There's also this X Thread by a US Merchant Marine captain with some interesting speculation about the US deliberately not opening the straight because we can weather it and it gives us some leverage on just about fucking everyone who's been shit head towards us lately. The oil markets splitting lends some support to it. And India is suffering, so there's that too.

Fuck I was onboard both a lha and a lhd for my deployments. I wished we had some Valkyries. Though they would most likely only be stationed on actual carriers since they usually took off in fighter mode and the lha/lhd runway isn't long enough. It could probably be done with jet assists but as day to day practical use prolly would happen.

Because, like every speculative market on Earth, "the market" is often irrational. There's a reason the classic wisdom about trying to profit as a speculator is "the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent."

I do not think groypers or the podcast right matters, they can go back to their coconut tree and I'm sure it'll be fine, but if we start shedding people like Tulsi or RFK we won't be the same movement anymore. Also, I worry that it makes men like Stephen Miller and Hegseth more vulnerable. How can you have the unapologetic men who get shit done, if you don't have the more level headed and pseudo-centrist/broad appeal people like Gabbard or RFK's MAHA? If the only people around a man like Stephen Miller, are a bunch of cuck old guard neocons, then it becomes a lot easier to say "Stephen Miller is too extreme, he has to go!"

I don't want to be a party of neocons, I want our weird mix of nationalists and converts.

The current admin is crashing and burning so hard that people like Tulsi or RFK leaving is almost inevitable. There is no end in sight for the war in Iran and gas prices are skyrocketing. There is no way for the admin to recover from this before getting completely taken over by neocons.

It really bothers me how most “right-wingers” take mainstream media/paid influencer demoralization ops at face value nowadays. It’s like people forgot about the concept of fake news sometime in 2023. You see these headlines running with “an official” or “an anonymous source” saying that Trump is dialing back on mass deportations (which the admin immediately refutes) or some bullshit about the troonout of the month (which is also immediately proven wrong). Literally like a week ago Axios ran with the exact same lazy headline WSJ did. You should be able to recognize this but apparently most people lost the ability to a couple years ago.
