Its fucked, my guy, every fucking day this conflict goes on without us making the oil flow again, compounds many issues here and abroad.
He doesn’t realize more than gas flows through the strait the US absolutely depends on like fertilizer. And helium. He just is all about the gas.

But that's what I'm kind of confused by. American Gas has no reason to be going up. We do not get a drop of crude from Iran, and we produce more than they do anyway. In 2024, we only imported 6 million USD of crude from Iran. We do not use their crude for almost anything. The price of gas going up is not a REFLECTION of the reality of it the situation in the Strait. It's a panic from oil markets freaking out because they can't just... wait until a conflict is over to adjust things, they have to use AI (I have no evidence of this but traders have been using it for over a decade) to make sure everything is traded immediately. Not to mention that states set their own gas taxes, and lib states will set higher taxes when they want people to feel like gas prices are up.
its wholly irrelevant that its not the same gas from the Hormuz, the market is a reactionary, its entirely expected the prices would go up by these results, almost all of the market is speculation and perception, and perception in this case, is economic reality.
They are increasing the prices on the speculative future that oil is worth more because of this event, and its totally resonable, and expected to do so.

That is why prices have gone up, because the value of oil has gone up, because of this event, your logical thoughts on oil and us producing enough really don't matter to the side that dictates the price.

Right, but you see how what you're saying is "The markets will for a short time be a bit more expensive, and once speculation has calmed, the market will calm."

I can't agree with you because you're making this argument from a line go up point of view, which I get, but do not agree with. Line going up a bit right now is less important than A. Line go up more later on, and B. Chinese line go down.

uh, no, Oil will be worth more across the board, and so the prices will go up, welcome to Globohomo.
The strait will not remain closed indefinitely. We've already begun the on-site operations to reopen it ourselves. The Heebs are minesweeping, and we're striking the shoreline missile launchers, which we had been taking stock of, and just dropped multiple 5,000 pound ground penetrators on two days ago. The Iranian destruction will continue until the Strait of Hormuz improves.

This just makes me think you're not familiar with what's going on in the region. What are you using to keep up to date?

This is like believing he was going to lock up Hillary. Even if you believe politicians are just champagne-sipping freaks who view ordinary people as disposable insects they still won't want to be the one to go through the headache of prosecuting Trump and probably losing for the tenth time.

They totally won’t do it again guys!
(Chutkin promised to do it again.)
Reminder that Trump was literally convicted in NY.

Being in prison didn't stop Eugene V. Debs from running for president
Shit, I forgot about President Debs!

that's fine, but until that happens that is my standing on what's going to occur.
All can slowly peel back once that occurs, but it has to occur first, be aware though, that the strait being closed is to Israeli's benefit as it means we will continue to put the boot to Iran, so they could try and stall that.

Then why did gas prices go up over a dollar in 3 days ?
Where I live it's been at the same price through this whole conflict.
But my blue state/big city pays WAY above national average, so people in red states might be seeing a bigger shift than I have.
I can't speak for them.

You are not displaying the appropriate levels of ‘trusting the plan’ and are dangerously close to having USPG2 Izzat being devastated until you learn to accept that EVERYTHING IS FINE AND NOTHING IS WRONG ASSHOLE. WE ARE IN A GOLDEN AGE AND IT IS ALL THANKS TO THAT BEAUTIFUL GOD-KISSED MAN WHO WAS LITERALLY BIRTHED TO SAVE US!

I just want my bills to go down and my wages to go up, I'm trust the plan so fuckin hard right now you don't even know.

Turns out? the plan doesn't involve us getting anything out of it, you can trust that.

@The Last Stand Does this do anything for ya?

I wonder if Joe Kent was the signal chat leaker from very early on in this admin. the media tried to get Hegseth to resign over that.
really? some of y'all have the memory of a goldfish.

Mike waltz added the fucking editor in chief of the atlantic, joel goldberg, and that guy ran with the story.

Mike was national security advisor was was quickly pushed over to UN ambassador over his fuckup

motherfucker was having private meetings with bibi, I wasn't aware of that.

I mean that's exactly what it is, they are going to gut fuck that guy for going against them, nothing else to, a story as old as time.

All to no real end, this will be the most unpopular War in our lifetime if it continues, it doesn't matter if they gutfuck Kent to death, it isn't like he's the one who peeled back the curtain, no one really wants a boots on the ground conflict at the behest of Israel, even if everyone hated Iran.
Retard, maybe he shouldn't have leaked information to Tucker if he didn't want to be investigated.

It proably started weeks ago, well before his resignation.

I couldnt imagine. I was paying a bit over 2 for gas before.

I still support killing each and every leader Iran has tho fuck those guys they're nuts.

As to the gas prices, i haven't seen a single place where they've dropped. It was 2.50-2.75 at the end of february, over about a 50-60 mile area. Now it's 3.79 everywhere in that same area. was around 3.40..ish a week ago.

It's taken a solid dollar jump in a couple weeks time. That goes for most of my state (from family and friends spread out from paducah to hazard)
