@p1138 I can't reply to your post for some reason.

The only uses I can think of for 73/27 are something like cabbage rolls or stuffed peppers, where you'd want some extra fat because you're basically steaming cooked ground beef in a vegetable wrapper.

That, or something like chili where you'd just drain it off anyway, but you'd be draining off a lot.
You need a kiwi farms gold account to reply to posts longer than a certain length.
Or alternatively, just highlight what specific portion of a post to reply to just that. It says as much if you hover your mouse over the Reply or Quote options.

It's 10.99 but yeah Chili's dropped their prices on their cheapest meals, I think it's "3 for me" or some shit like that? Some of them are more expensive but they did it because normal fast food prices started climbing so much that they could draw people in. Where I'm at anyway, $11 for a burger fries and soda from Chili's(which also comes with free refills on the soda) is definitely a better deal than a quarter pounder with cheese meal at mcdonalds at $12 and that's not even making it a large. Not that Chili's is particularly amazing or anything but yes times have gotten that retarded. Of course if you want a better side, or any other kind of addons the price jumps quick and they will of course attempt to up-sell you, and since there's a waiter you're expected to tip.

Jack and by extension BK, McDick, is straddling that gray zone w.r.t. fast food experience. Mooost people get fast food because they're lazy, in a hurry and want to punish the body. We are not expecting a delicious burger. No shiny marketing campaign or viral nonsense is gonna change the fact that squeaky voiced teens and mexicans with boosted papers are behind the grill.
I get a good burger at a sit down because I have time, am with the fellas, and don't mind waiting 15+ minutes for my meal. That warrants $15+ burgers and they can jew me for a side and drink, maybe. Nigh $30 when all is said and done.

Fuck do I know about the fast food industry economics but trying to elevate a fast food to inch toward that $15 meal, you're gonna piss off the poor fucks (nine dollaridoo burger?! you're fucking crazy!! wheres muh value menu!!) and annoy the patricians with wallets (you think you're cute charging 10 for a burger?).

Jack's dome really looks like it was flattened. he looks like old fat stewie in profile

Hell, I haven't seen teens working fast food in years. I've honestly got no idea what the hell kids these days in highschool do as a starter job for pocket money or if they even bother.

You've got it the wrong way around. It wasn't fast food trying to elevate anything. The prices shot up over the course of the past 4 years as all of the chains tried to maintain their margins. Then some of the casual chains like Chilis in response brought prices down to get themselves more traffic because they wanted to increase volume and try to make up for the margin difference with the up-sell.

You can see what I mean with the upsell. They get people in the door with a base price that's lower than mcdonalds, BK, etc. and then with the people who can't help themselves make up for it that way. But even then, a burger, fries, cup of soup, and a soda with free refills? It won't be as fast obviously, but yes I'd say that's better value than what the fast food chains are offering. The drink menu is sodas and then a $6 margarita, so I didn't feel the need to grab that part.

It's the same thing with Applebees and their 2 for $25. 2 entrees for 2 people(I have to specify because fatty would assume they're both for him) plus an appetizer even if it doesn't have a drink still comes out to $12.50 a person for dinner, which again is on par with or better than mcdonalds. And that mcdonalds menu is average, not factoring in regional pricing. By the time you get a value meal at mcdonalds and make it a large size, you'll be out damn near $18-20 after tax.

It breaks when trying to reply to a post with multiple replies like mine(it probably wouldn't know how to layer the quotes correctly). But like @the khat quaffer said you can just highlight and reply that way.

Can confirm, once I picked up a pack of extra lean instead of lean*, and decided screw it, I'm not taking it back, I'm just going to make burgers anyway.
I like taking super lean and making an 80/20 mix of something like round (but not eye of round because fuck that trash cut) and ground bacon.
95/5: Extra Lean
98/2 is what I like for my 80/20 mix. That's usually from a round. Just make sure it isn't eye of round and when you have the butcher grind it, make sure it has no visible fat.

If you're making a Culver's-style patty anyway you can do the same by getting super lean and working some cold butter in there.

"$9.99 at Chili's for a better burger (he hasn't even tried the McDick burget yet) AND fries and a drink" has Chili's always been that low? Is that a kid's meal thing? That sounds desperate to me. Those are shithole fast food prices.
I have a local dive bar where they have a sign outside advertising the best burger in town for $6 and it's a half pound patty (minus the fat that melts off) and loaded. There's literally no excuse for chain slop to cost twice this while being half as good.

I like the flavor the bacon contributes while also maintaining a very high amount of protein. Butter is pretty useless for protein. (I save the butter for grilling the bun.)

There's plenty of excuses I mean reasons. Go to a fast food near closing and ask for the fries w/o salt - rumor has it if you listen closely you can hear the moon crickets chirp spirituals.

Jacko mentioned sonic in this most recent expose. I never see him there, wonder why. A quick search only yields one hit and it's a 12 year old booger war.

12+ years of unrepentant fast food gluttony, Jack...you belong on posters in middle schools.

Yeah, like Chili's isn't amazing or anything but it looks like they have a decent value these days compared to fast food chains. Bigger and tastier burger and cheaper than McDonald's. Only reason to go to fast food would be it's faster. That's it.

It's not even fast anymore, now that they prioritize UberEats orders.

That's why they closed hundreds of locations last year, and this year is looking no better for them.

6:30 fatty whines about the amount of cheese on a burger with 3 slices of melted cheese after he scrapes all of the cheese off

Fatty also whines that the patties are only 6.2 total ounces. The 4 oz patty is pre-cook weight and meat typically loses 1/4 of its weight once it's cooked. 3.1 oz per patty after cooking is exactly in the range of the amount of what you should expect
It's all about the cheese and meat to this guy and more means it's better.

>complains about $9.10 for a borger
Go to a good place that specializes in one thing (not fucking Chili's or Applebee's) and drop ~15-$20 on a burger. Impress Tammy for once in your life.
A good burger is worth $15. He's getting a crappy fast food burger and acting like it's somehow gourmet.

"This is why you should learn to cook at home. Watch my cooking show."
Then why the fuck is he eating it? Oh that's right, he's a hypocrite.

Grinding your own is the best way to go. I tend to use sirloin, chuck and either something like brisket or short ribs to even it out.

Can anyone autistic enough to have kept up with it summarize Jack's botting history to date, including the trend of his views with or without (or even before or after) him stumbling through such dishonest practices? I recall that his attempt at boomer-botting his socials resulted in the Indian scammers he handed his credentials to taking over his FB group/page - But in the years since, there seems to be a clearer gulf between the Utoobs numbers in Jack's head and the bleak reality that only a small percentage of belugahead's subscribers bother watching, and apparently only for the sake of laughing at him.

What's the logic in saying that getting two quarterpounders would be cheaper being that those are entirely different sandwiches apart from the patty? Fatty really thinks MORE is GUDDER it seems

Complains that the bacon is not "really cooked" because it has some color on it :story: That bacon is on point, fatty really thinks he has any authority talking about doneness, he undercooks chicken to this day

Yea, crispy bacon on a burger just doesn't work for me. Weird texture to have something hard and crispy in a burger

I like the crunch but there's definitely a danger zone for sandwiches. If my bacon gets too crispy I save it for bacon bits for muh breakfast burrito next morning. You can go all hoity toity froo-froo with a knife and cutting board or you can smash it up with your hands like a gorilla on steroids.

I enjoy crispy textures on a burger. The issue is Jack looking for issues on a perfectly good bacon strip, being him the one that undercooked every sort of meat i can't remember

I'm not much into big fast food, i'm more of a small businesses guy myself, but there's literally nothing wrong with both burgers. Fatty's complains is just about quantity over quality, as always
