The reality is true: Turkey Tom's long-term ex-girlfriend accused him of violent and unwanted sexual behavior. There is no way for me to determine if she's actually lying or not from just our conversations. In the interview I asked her questions to strain her story and several of her responses were used by Turkey Tom to exonerate himself. He used her responses from that interview to help further his own narrative. Literally what more could I have done?!

Unfortunately I think this is a no win scenario. Simply by being the owner and operator of the site, you not only have external opposition due to numerous personal justifications others might have (both mental illness and greed based) as well significant internal opposition from people who simply exist to be contrarian or in an attempt to make a name for themselves by taking a shot at you.

If you attempt to completely remove yourself from taking a position of any type and remain impartial, people will accuse you of weakness and if you attempt to voice any position people will immediately take the counter argument.

My only idea would to create some level of protocols for people to follow before gaining access to any platform you don’t openly offer complete access to. Likely involving a small panel of trusted individuals to screen for possible flaws or holes. Secondly I’d suggest any interview involving someone asserting tangential or actual legally actionable material to be hosted by a panel. By having more than one person asking questions and probing the authenticity of the speaker, it relieves you of a bit of the burden and creates a potentially higher critical threshold on the subject.

And then when Tom released the apology, everyone went anti-Null like he was trying to push the situation before it was fleshed out. He didn't do much before the apology besides inviting the girls to the farms, acting as a quick contact for updates, and MATI.

I think everyone wanted the girls to be fair and honest, and since the interview was the first time they spoke about it vocally in a digestible way that wasn't hundreds of thread pages, people who couldn't be bothered to read the full context pinned the girls lies on Null because MATI was their only experience with the situation.
