From what I've seen, the American military seems to be focused on SEAD and DEAD (formally Chuck's) at the moment. I'm guessing this is phase 1. I'm worried phase 2 might be larger SOF deployments (green berets have been "boots on the ground" for months, anyone saying otherwise is delusional). MEUs landing on the southern coast isn't out of the question. Depends on how things shake out with the Artesh.

I think war is kind of gay honestly, even if it works out for the good guys. It sucks I can't say that without also allying myself with the worst
cretins imaginable.

The US military carried out nearly 900 US strikes in the first 12 hours of this operation, US defense official tells me. The strikes came “from land, air and sea and included drones.”
All the while “defending against 100s of incoming Iranian ballistic missiles.”

Iran has fired about 300 missiles today. They have 2000 long range missiles and 2000 shorter range missiles. They had built back up their arsenal since last summer.

In Bahrain at the 5th Fleet HQ the Iranians hit an “empty warehouse” and a Ray Dome - radar installation - the dome seen in the video from the strike. There are multiple redundancies and nothing that has happened has affected the mission, according to this official.

What is the goal/end state:

The US and its partners know where Iran’s highly enriched uranium is, but it is hard to get to.

Expect the operation to last “a couple of weeks.” But POTUS could decide to off ramp early if he chooses.

There are still a number of air defenses left, according to US official. Will take a few days to suppress.

If we hadn't been utterly raping Iran from the skies and had just let the people protest wholly unaided, China would've likely started sending weapons and Iran would be recruiting Chinese in exchange for like 5 years worth of Chinese wages like what was happening in Ukraine with Russia. IMHO the only way that this situation could've worked with even less American involvement is if protestors somehow managed to get a massive chunk of the military on their side AND had decapitated a majority of their government before the Chinese or Russians could get largely involved.

No need to bring in the chinks. They are pulling their foreign fighters from the Iraqi Militia.

Iran and the Militia have been on the outs a bit ever since funding started to dry up as oil fall post Dakota oil fields, but they are turning out in large numbers to support the regime.

Most of them are just retarded and violent, but the more forward thinking are realizing that if Iran falls, they are going to lose thier source of arms and any hope of money in the future is gone.

Fyi, the F-35 is not really an old-fashioned dogfighter, at least that's not its primary purpose or what it's primarily designed for. It's more of a stealthy weapons platform. So don't expect footage of jets dogfighting at close range. The F-35's primary weapon is AMRAAM missiles with a range of over 100km, so if it has shot down Iranian jets, it will have done so by detecting them from probably many tens of miles away, fired a few missiles from that range, and already fucked off long before said missiles struck their targets. The Iranian jets probably never even knew US jets were locking onto them before they got kaboomed. Whatever footage there is would be indistinguishable from any other missile system hitting a jet.

Thats dumb as shit of you to think. We likely know what he has for breakfast each morning, let alone where he eats it, Iran's internal security has been so badly compromised.
