I would imagine it's pretty hard to maintain such a massive lie without blinking, yeah.

The thing about traumatic experiences is, people who've had them don't normally go on about them, what with them being so traumatic and all. Phil goes out of his way to find excuses to bring his "years of abuse" up. We get Daddy Rape Day, we get Father's Day, we even get the anniversary of the end of the abuse.

In reality, the only suffering Phil has on Father's Day is the nagging reminder that for the sake of a few meaningless asspats from people he's never met, he's burnt bridges with everyone who's ever loved him and who could have given him real help.

Anyway, I look forward to the inevitable post containing a long catalogue of abuse, finishing with "something something healing something donate."
