Originally the claim for why the late time slot was a combo of waiting for the kids to be in bed and a sleep disorder. Why he keeps the time slot now is habit since drugs destroyed any higher brain functions leaving only an impulsive husk. It would be interesting if he kept any information about the regions for his live viewers from back around the lolsuit and weeb wars. He did stream at the worst possible time with it being late in the US (8 pm PST/11 pm EST) then for the EU that would be 4 am GMT to 6 am EET. IIRC a lot of people at the time would watch the recording the next day. To the point where 24 hours after a stream the view count would be around 80% of his subscribers at the time. It was that level of engagement which got him into the algorithm.

Remember when he came back and talked about streaming in the DAY because that WORKED BETTER for his schedule now that his kids were OLDER, and it would let MORE people watch?
