I'm of the very firm opinion a lot of the SJW shit was pushed by corporations and corporate lobby groups. The idea of restricting speech, limiting criticism, establishing what is and isn't acceptable to consume was the goal. It also shot a major schism into left wing groups as traditional unions and working class people were thoroughly put off by the college style infighting, the hijacking of discourse regarding things such as cost of living, living wages and work conditions (safety, fatigue management, bullying and exploitative work conditions etc.)
The Anti-SJW stuff did start organically, and it was small. But the big reason I believe the same money behind the artificial explosion in the SJW shit started backing the Anti-SJW shit, pushing people toward embracing or voting for people who catered (and enflamed) the outrage whilst pushing the cutting of regulation and restrctions on big money and corporations.
I base this mainly off my own impression that the end goals of both the SJWs and the counter to it (which all ended up being recruitment for free market conservatism) only really benefit one group of people. Big money, the 1%. What really hammers it home for me the amount of times Google, Facebook and other tech companies have been caught playing around with social manipulations. I've seen videos of the autistic little cunts talking about how the human psyche has "hacks" that they use and put into their products to increase "engagement".
This whole "culture war" has been industrial-scale manipulation. Getting people from both sides of politics to act and vote counter to their own interests, and if people stopped being retarded, stop screaming at each other, take a step back and really think out what has happened they'd realize it hasn't been the average person "on the other side" causing these issues. It's been those creepy fucking nerds on Wall Street, in political lobby groups in Washington and in Silicon Valley. And it's been nearly 20 fucking years since someone shoved them in a locker, gave them a swirly or a beating and considering the shit that is being pulled, and has been pulled, it's something that is long overdue (and I count pants shitting blowhards with the social skills and self control of a sugared up toddler amongst that group)

Seen it with a lot of twitter accounts, which unironically go "I will end my life/leave twitter/do ANYTHING but tweet all day if/when X happens.", then once X occurs, they might leave for a couple of days before they return.
Mostly agreed. I think what the issue was, is that after Obama's first term, where Occupy Wall Street was picking up and getting general support, they essentially "pulled the evil outta the box" and propped up leftists and the like, who up till this point had mainly been quarantined to the Unis and had not yet become the "main voice". And the Leftists ran with the ball, playing Divide and Conquer while the corpos watched the madness happen with initial happiness because their "enemies" got split. However, this would later start biting them in the ass when the leftists came out against them.
Meanwhile, the people waking up to this burgeoning madness went against the leftists as anti-SJWs; however, like any war that keeps on going on, you had many anti-SJWs who slowly radicalized in one or the other direction; while others became dependent on the YT/Patreon-bucks, and kept running the grift, because like the military-industrial-complex, their income relies on the culture war remaining relevant. Which is why they'll lose their minds over the smallest shit regardless of how important it may be IRL.
Someone should really tag Grummz in all the tweets he's previously made where he calls out pretty benign shit because he's "trying to 'save people'", essentially self-destructing for virtue points.

My scorching hot take is that their target audience isn’t capable of nuanced debates. They want one side (their side) destroying the other. Politics is a team sport to a lot of people and they want to see Team Red destroying Team Blue. It’s why they focus on Poli Sci 101 students who are naive and foolish enough to take the bait. They get annihilated outside of their comfort zones. The Lobster King’s brain is so fried and scrambled that even college students destroy him on a routine basis.

Actually fairly accurate assessment, I grant him that. Pointing out all the things Trump has said and how inaccurate, contradictory or ludicrous they were didn't stop him winning the second term or changing the minds of his core support base. The guy says one thing in the morning and then a completely different thing in the evening. You can't pinpoint if anything he says is genuine, and thus his actual political beliefs are forever an enigma, besides vague notions of "make america great again" which can mean a 100 different things depending on who you ask. You can't even judge his beliefs from his actions half the time, because he complains about his plans being limited by the courts, the democrats or "the deep state". However, unlike the twitter OP in question, I don't see this as a good thing.
Yes, yielding a gotcha moment from him yields nothing, because he practically believes in everything and nothing at the same time. He is a populist through and through. He seems like he holds all the power, but in reality he is a slave to the erratic belief structure of his support base.
If he doesn't placate to their every whim, he will end up in prison. And that's why he keeps ending up in these awkward situations where he tries appealing to both isolationists and neocons at the same time when it comes to foreign policy issues pertaining to Ukraine and Israel.

I’ve got a fun anecdote about this point: back when he got caught hoarding classified documents (which was actually based and redpilled of him to do you libcuck) I was at a relative’s house with my family, and a close family member actually said, almost verbatim, “how could this be happening?? He was supposed to be making America great again™!!” in the most melodramatic voice I’ve heard them use in a long time… still didn’t stop them from voting for him again last November.
It really solidified my belief that this is a cult, and that being a migger has nothing to do with the actual policies of the administration.
