Do you honestly believe Intel's factories and talent vanishes into thin air if they were allowed to declare bankruptcy? Like in a video game? No, the viable pieces get put back to together - also called a re-organization - and they start fresh with a much higher likelihood of success. Instead of that taxpayers are now on the hook for a zombie company with a bloated and entitled managerial class.

You fucking retard.

We SAW in the 80's and 90's what happens.

The company is stripped all the way down to scrap, what they can't get good money for they leave in place and don't sell to avoid competition, they get the building condemned or use the property for tax writeoff.

The people are just shit out of luck, except for the C-Suite, who all go new jobs.

The older managers got bonuses.

Everyone else don't even get unemployment.

So how about you take that stupid shit back where you found it, you ignorant llitle faggot.

“Since that time, every Florida governor, every Florida senator, and countless local and national political figures, including presidents, have publicly pledged their unequivocal support for the restoration, conservation, and protection of the Everglades,” she wrote.
Thankfully, nothing conserves fragile ecosystems more than removing millions of people who shouldn't be in the country.

To be fair we have a binary problem that makes this happen. Its a two sided sword with no handle.

1. China enters WTO and we also "go free trade" which drives down wages and incentivizes building Chinese infrastructure. (lmao its cheaper in china, send the labor over there! huhuuhuh)
2. We import thousands and thousands of people with low skill, promising them higher wages than where they come from, and benefits for their children who will be trained and thus not low skill, so that they can promote their own interests. But everyone that is already here now has to compete with them.

So our companies have to compete with the lowest labor ECONOMY (how many chinese are there again?)
and we also have to compete to get the JOBS HERE. (How many immigrants can there be again?)
Meanwhile, all of this comes at a cost, meaning that while they're outsourcing and hiring immigrants to depress wages, they're also taxing us more AND printing more money. It's simply impossible to do ANYTHING in these circumstances. It's a flanderization of the concept of an empire where you can demand tribute from everyone by controlling resources with military power while enslaving the outsiders, and bringing slaves into the capital.

In that sense we have been under attack the entire time. If neither of these things happened, all of these businesses we think of as "american companies" during the post-war boom would still be huge. Where would RCA be? Where would China's "progress" be. Where was it before 2000 when they entered the WTO? Where was our country civically in the early 60s before Vietnam and the Hart Celler stuff?
If:
We didn't empire build at a loss
Import Immigrants at a loss
Send our factory structure to foreign countries at their gain

We would be insanely rich, powerful, and full steam ahead of our competition.
But something fucked us from inside our own walls.

When people compliment how good Toyota and Honda are at making vehicles where do people think that came from? They were directly competing with us, they had to work really hard to make their pickup trucks. (the vehicle that handy people use) They compete with what was already known as the best, and is still seen as the preferred truck. The F-150, right? (Ford? GMC? Dodge?)

And by the way what is actually better, bailing out a company or buying into it? Does it make ANY sense for us to just give money to people with terms preferable to them when they fucked up so bad, and it was the government's strategies that fucked them over before that?

Oh and just one more thing...
Gavin Newsom/democrats attacking the government for buying into intel as a "socialist" plot is a complete wedge they put between them and the red lefties who would actually like that if they were doing it. It would be much more accepted by fear based populations that it was Trump being fascist. Drum up that potentially made up quote that Fascism is Corporation + Nation. These people are stupid.
1755913435499.webp

If the government owns a stake in an entity as stupid as what people call "Corporations", then that means the company has a duty to make money for America. My counterpoint to anyone thinking this is a bad idea is "that's hilarious." (Corporate law is an excuse to make executives money if number go up, no matter what happens after number goes up, or how number went up.)
Fuck corporations, and True to Caesar.

That even game developers can see that fact shows how important it is, which is why America losing industry to "outsourcing" (especially in the '00s, I think?) was not good.

(Not dunking on game devs here, saying that vidya development is sorta removed from the industrial field.)
If you have played any game where you have a tech tree and need resources, you should understand this. Fucking Command and Conquer runs on this logic. More factories and generators and shit you have, the more things you can do, until you basically just rape the NPCs with your industrial might.

I don't understand why you're being such a dick about this. The sample size of huge companies going bankrupt is actually quite low. You can't make such confident predictions about the future.

Which you didn't say the elephant in the room.
Which Obama baited on the elephant.
American infrastructure is terrible & best we can do is solar or wind farm.

I remember it because it wasn't an easy hack, even according to AMD. The guys really had to break it to get inside. It always sounded like it was built in.
Is this the one you're referring to? I'm not sure if it is or not, I just looked over their CVEs and found one that wasn't found by AMD directly

By definition most vulnerabilities are "built in" if it's a hardware exploit. The Intel backdoor was clearly deliberate and intentional and not an "exploit" in the traditional sense - iirc if the processor encountered a specific, undocumented instruction while a seemingly innocuous register (a physical component of the computer that holds a value) had a specific value in it, it provided access to ring0 (aka "admin mode," sudo, etc) which is pretty much unfettered access to the entire computer. Contrast that with the AMD vuln I linked which is basically "certain GPUs can leak certain information displayed on webpages"...they're not really comparable. Even still these exploits are usually found by people who more or less do this for a living or are REALLY experienced at security research, you can make quite a bit of money by discovering and disclosing them to the manufacturer.

To be clear I'm not saying AMD doesn't have anything like what Intel has. The Intel backdoor was found after intense research from people who do this for a living and digging through patents. My point being that these things are pretty hard to come by and the manufacturers *really* do their damndest to make them unknown to anyone but the 3-letter orgs. There's a pretty comprehensive lecture on it here (sorry for formatting, I'm phonefagging): https://youtu.be/jmTwlEh8L7g

Sorry for derailing. just wanted to point out that "backdoors" and "vulnerabilities" in general are two very different concepts

trial for fucking what? he's a fucking illegal, twice-decided on that he's also a gang member. what the fuck do they mean trial? he's already been found guilty TWICE of this exact thing. get the fuck rid of him.

He's got child trafficking charges against him. That's why Trump brought him back. Not the judges orders, not their threats of judical contempt nor the "public pressure" campaign by the MSM but that fact the FBI wanted to charge him for that incident in Texas where he was caught with 3 children in his vehicle 2 years ago that weren't his...nor were those kids America according to the State Troopers so it's not hard to guess what was going to happen. Biden's admin told the Staties to drop it but now that Patel in the FBI seat he's pushing forward. Garcia may have wished he stayed in Guatemala.

The Left is defending a child trafficking gang=banger who beats his wife and child. That's how far they will go to "own" Orange Man Bad.

They've completely lost it, TDS doesn't even cover how bad the Dems and the Lefties hate Trump. If Trump cured cancer today they'd be on the MSM singing the praises of cancer and how awesome it is and how evil it is of Trump to kill it.

They've lost it, that's all I can really say. They're complete off the reservation and wandering in the wilderness now.

Yeah that was the one. I just always found it strange is all, due to the difficulty of accomplishing the exploit in the first place

And that's where they need to stay. That's where they need to be kept. We don't want them getting their shit together anytime soon.

The Dem civil war will be over before 2026. One way or the other the Dem's will have to unify before the mid-terms, the only question is which sides wins out; the progressives or the moderates.

Right now both sides are leaderless and broke but they won't stay that way. They will unify and either double down on the crazy if the progressive wing wins out or try to back track to sanity if the moderates prevail.

I still think they will lose 2026 because the party is so far gone they will struggle to get good candidates up and their message out.

Anime memes aren't going to help you with what's coming any more than printing more green paper out of thin air will.

That's how far they will go to "own" Orange Man Bad.
The left is going to have a huge issue come 2027-28. Trump will have cleaned up the world and America. "Orange man bad" is going to have no effect, in fact saying it will actively harm the democrats. Times running out for them to correct the ship. I think the pendulum will eventually swing but it might not be til '30 or '32.

If Trump cured cancer today they'd be on the MSM singing the praises of cancer and how awesome it is and how evil it is of Trump to kill it.
They would quite literally scream about how he's putting oncologists out of work and use lawfare to try to stop him disseminating the cure.

I still want him to dedicate a press conference to an announcement that the sky is blue. I want my catalogue of media coverage filled to the brim of breathless explanations of all the different colors the sky can be besides blue, and why anyone who thinks it's blue is a baby-raping nazi.
