>reuse the same cooking oil for several days of non stop frying
>soak your meat in a slurry of water, corn starch, and baking soda for an hour before frying
>heat your wok with an industrial gas burner that looks and sounds like a jet engine
>add a little extra MSG and white pepper powder to every recipe

that's how the distinct 'asian take out' taste is made
you can replicate some of it at home but not all
This guy's videos are the best for replicating Asian recipes

Indian food is delicious and any kind of curry is going to look like slop on a plate because it's only slightly thicker than a stew. It would be like Americans putting chili on a plate. The best thing about Indian cuisine is that anyone can make it. In fact, it's not necessary to import any kind of third worlders to enjoy their cuisine. Buy their spices (or grow them yourself) and make the dishes at home. It's not difficult to make and anyone who has ever made chili can make curry.

Don't blame the spices for the third worlders that live where they natively grow.

Nah nigger. Food and cuisine is a part of culture and culture is destiny. Indian food is unskilled slop made to be mass produced to feed hordes of vermin too retarded to understand what the food even tastes like, just to be shat out in the street so the process can be repeated. If you eat what looks like the poo, you are going to become the poo. Rate me MATI but I am tired of people/retards treating third world garbage like its on the same level as American or European food.

Steve Lookner of Agenda-Free TV is having WAY too much fun with flightradar24 and the live feed from the airport.

"Authentic" ethnic food is almost always much worse than the Americanized slop equivalent and I'm tired of pretending otherwise
Highly dependent on how you define ethnic food. Four corners of cuisine (Chinese, Japanese, French, Italian)? Absolutely superior to the Americanized versions. Typical Euro and East Asian foods (not of the four above)? Generally better than American versions. Third world slop from places like India, Africa, and Mexico? Generally not any better than American food, often worse.

Nigger you probably eat Hormel Chili out of can and don't think twice about it.

... Indian food is pretty easy to reproduce though (and it is delicious) so I can't think of any use for imported jeets ...
Agreed entirely. In fact, the West is the reason why Indian food is so good.

It's the same deal in Cuba, India, most of China, etc. - the food is good in theory, but their shitty supply chains, idiotic approaches to food prep, and terrible ingredient quality cripple their ability to make their own cuisine. In Cuba, their lack of sufficient food resources often cripple their ability to make good dishes for anyone but visitors (this is not their fault, they try their best). China has the same issue, mainly because they continue to be absolute idiots about meat prep (they tend to cut chicken up whole, leaving the bones in, reducing the entire culinary experience to picking bones out of your teeth) and because their entire culture is still crippled by starvation-era "fuck you, got mine" mentalities that incentivize endless corner-cutting. India is the same but somehow worse: the meat is at best gristly and poorly-prepared, the eating-with-your-hands thing is asinine and sloppy (I've done it dozens of times in India and found it idiotic each time, you literally have to rush off to a sink the SECOND you're done eating), the flavors are overmuch at best and slop at worst.

The West fixes all that. Miami does Cuban food better than Cuba can, purely due to ingredients availability alone. Legitimate Chinese food in the United States makes food in most of China (outside of major T1 cities) look poverty-tier. The 'jeets here in the U.S. also have the ability to make their own slop better than they could back home, due in no small part due to better ingredients and the possibility of being backhanded by a health inspector.

Stated more simply: one of America's great superpowers is that we steal the cool ideas from other countries and make it our own, like a giant cultural Borg cube. We have stolen India's flavor profiles without stealing their idiotic approach to eating and dangerous approach to food prep. We win.

Pretty much, though I wouldn't call it a Borg cube.

America has a better sense of style than that.

American Indian food is palatable. Wouldn’t eat it every day but a mild Tiki Masala and butter chicken is really good, some long basmati rice and naan compliments it all nicely.

There’s a good place near me I go sometimes but the kitchen is all blacks and Asians. Not a jeet in sight.

Are we becoming chili snobs now? Chili is for either hot dogs or as a main meal. The can is fine for most cases, the cheaper the better.
Nah. My point is just because food looks like shit doesn't mean it's not worth eating or is culturally bankrupt. I fuck with Hormel chili any day. I also will destroy a Vindaloo on rice with fresh Naan. It looks/appears no worse than a bowl of chili.

Y'all have already heard about how the Kentucky DMV was selling driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, right?

You know if it's happening there, it's going on all over the country. Driver's licenses are considered valid ID. Those are not valid citizens.
This irritates me.
Boy, you probably don’t want to know it’s done openly some places.

As of 2023/2025, 19 U.S. states and the District of Columbia issue driver's licenses to undocumented immigrants who meet specific state requirements for identity and residency, though some states are considering restrictions or invalidating these licenses. These states include: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington.

Sure dude. That the best you got. A can of Hormel won't leave you smelling like a patch of garlic, balls and death that a bowl of fuckin indian tikki feces messala would, dude.

Edit - sure, a can of Hormel won't leave you smelling like roses either. But that smell is all American.

I like Gyros. I'm not sure what kind of meat it is, but Tzatziki sauce is kino. Managing to make a mystery meat w/ grain taste "refreshing" has to deserve some kind of Food Prep Nobel prize.

Also, the Trump / Putin meeting is scheduled to start in a little over half an hour at 11:00am Eskimo time.

Was. About 10 years ago. I never went on to become a lawyer proper because I was too concerned about the moral hazard of getting roped in to defend someone who really shouldn't be defended, and I really didn't want more student loans.
You must have gone to a strange law school, then, because International Shoe is 1st-week material for Civil Procedure, a mandatory 1L class, usually right after Pennoyer v. Neff. I actually had a descendent of Pennoyer in my Civ Pro class.

Canned chili is one of the items I keep stocked for times when I don't feel like cooking. It all comes down to personal taste I guess, but I think the two most common brands (Hormel and Wolf) are terrible.

For me I go with Wendy's canned chili on hot dogs or fries and Campbell's Hot & Spicy for a meal.

Nothing beats a good homemade chili though as every cook can make it their own way.
