This woman's art is just so fucking lazy. It's so ugly. She barely knows how to draw lips, or faces, or hands (seriously look at any one of her comics and the hands are almost always hidden away) and this is her career. That one sane reddit comment really is right, the popularity of her stuff can only be described as an enigma. Popular strips like these are already lazy and like all the rest of r/comics each one she puts out is just low hanging fruit, Trump bad, or "lol women/cats/millenials are quirky." But her comics aren't funny, they're more often than not actively hostile. They're not visually appealing, they're all copy-pasted faces in a gradient void. They don't even have a message or try to be compelling or tell a story like some of the r/comics artists do, they're all just a shitty setup and a shitty punchline masking impotence and seething anger. She chases trends, puts in the minimal amount of effort, and just can't help herself from bitching about politics all the fucking time.
I think that's why she's popular, even discounting the bots and OF shilling: her comics embody the attitude of reddit itself. She's the quintessential redditor, just in female form.

I want to blame Reddit specifically, but it's just part of the human condition I think. The comics aren't actually good art, the points they make aren't interesting or original, but people will updoot things they agree with. The exaggerated artstyle makes them feel like they're agreeing HARDER, which is GOOD, because their opinions are GOOD. For the stupid joke panels, all of the "omg im old" and "haha i embarass kids" ones, the FUNNE FACE panels mean JOKE IS FUNNE, it's the webcomic version of a cheap laugh track.
For the hostile comics very specifically, that's how most people are most of the time. They see a thing they agree with, they emotionally resonate with it, and find a sort of logical way to justify it in their heads - they emotionally agree with the idea of anyone who disagrees with them being an insane MAGAtard who should be killed, but if you say it that way they intuitively understand it sounds unhinged, and square the dissonance by being like "omg it's just a comic relax". It's pretty interesting actually, Jonathan Haidt has written about it in detail; his research was the foundation for the popular talking point of "conservatives empathize with liberals better than the reverse" that made the rounds years ago, if you recall that one.

One user thinks Mark Cunty is definitely Ellen or a friend. They cite the excessive use of RETARDED. Does Ellen have any friends? PenPals doesn't seem to like her. I could see her son doing it in a misguided attempt to defend her. I don't know who else would dedicate their time to a dumb LARP.

People have been blaming him for a bunch of shit that went on with the flood that happened in Texas. But the thing is, I heard that rescue operations were working damn hard to help the survivors. Better than FEMA ever did for the Hurricane Helene victims. Though I guess I can give Ellen props for not directly shitting on dozens of dead children for political clout like a lot of libtards, including Destiny.

It says alot about her stupidity and mentality that in her bizarre scenario here, the woman immediately goes from being rejected for a loan to working as a stripper, as opposed to getting a normal job like almost everybody does in that situation.
