I theorized in the past that maybe its jon du toit, someone who's worked with Lauren in the past on documentaries, and is referenced fairly frequently in her media projects and social media. However, she always refers to him properly as "Jon" instead of "John" when she does reference him in written form. I still don't write him off entirely, however, since it's possible she doesn't do that in a informal setting like in the messages above.

I've tried, before, searching in twitter for "nuancebro john" in case that any of his friends accidentally calls him that publicly, but nothing has really ever showed up.

Maybe she is referring with 'John' to 'John Doe' to avoid revealing the real name. Would follow the trend of STDestiny getting fucked & cucked by The Does.

Ah, thanks for posting this. Watching the section reminded me another of the reasons why I thought the guy she was seeing/dating was Nuancebro.

Similarly to when he started fucking Boze, Destiny started drinking because Lauren encouraged him to.

However, when Lauren started to lose interest in Destiny, her likes became less frequent, etc. She suddenly started talking about working out and stop drinking altogether, she didn't stick to it religiously, but it did imply an influence from the guy she was seeing.
Nuancebro being a non-drinker, and working out, it's actually something that she mentions quite a few times in their stream interactions, and even in twitter interactions if I'm not mistaken.

Her friendship with Nuancebro actually got her to start interacting with some of Solbrah's orbiters, if I'm not mistaken, and I believe that Solbrah himself.
