I theorized in the past that maybe its jon du toit, someone who's worked with Lauren in the past on documentaries, and is referenced fairly frequently in her media projects and social media. However, she always refers to him properly as "Jon" instead of "John" when she does reference him in written form. I still don't write him off entirely, however, since it's possible she doesn't do that in a informal setting like in the messages above.

He'll also have the same very fast, animated cadence when he is trying to justify something that I think he knows is hard to justify or makes him look bad. For example, he did that when he was trying to justify having private conversations with random children about their relationships to Aba, and he did it when he was going over his habit of saving sex videos and spreading them around when going over his "consent accident" with Melina (I think that's what I'm thinking of, but can't be bothered to confirm). He thinks if he blows by the underlying details really quickly, people won't realize how fucking weird his behavior actually is. The funny thing is, it actually seems to work with his audience, and I've seen multiple people go over the "consent accident" clip, and hardly anybody focuses on what he's actually saying, and how weird/dysfunctional it is.

I believe, Nuancebro might actually go by John, don't quote me on it, but I kinda wish I could be able to rewatch the Lauren Southern streams she did with him, because, I believe, at a certain point in one of them she refers to him by John.
I tried to go back for some of them years ago, as people in the thread didn't believe me that Nuancebro, at a certain point after the Better Discourse event, mentions how Lauren mysteriously disappeared for the rest of the night on him and Venti (because she went out drinking with Destiny, which is when he fell on the anthill).

I've tried, before, searching in twitter for "nuancebro john" in case that any of his friends accidentally calls him that publicly, but nothing has really ever showed up.
