Its been said a lot but the boomers have really become pro-left wing again since they're the ones defending the status quo. Electing the right-wing means that things may change, and they don't want to lose that sweet pension money.
Any political change that reduces the cost of housing reduces one of their largest investments. Forcing companies to stop using overseas bullshit and pay an American a competitive wage that isn't suppressed by importing foreign workers hurts their 401k. Many grew up addicted to the civil rights movement and many want one last hit before they die.

Clearly not all are like this, but the cards aren't stacked in favor of them supporting the unfucking our nation.

No he doesn't. Any bill that raises (or unraises) money must originate in the House, and Trump can veto it anyways.
Apparently it’s the national emergency declaration that they are targeting.

Which is functionally the same thing:

Procedure for new emergencies and rescinding emergency declarations

edit
The Act authorizes the President to activate emergency provisions of law via an emergency declaration on the condition that the President specifies the provisions so activated and notifies Congress. An activation would expire if the President expressly terminated the emergency, or did not renew the emergency annually, or if each house of Congress passed a resolution terminating the emergency. After presidents objected to this "Congressional termination" provision on separation of powers grounds, and the Supreme Court in INS v. Chadha (1983) held such provisions to be an unconstitutional legislative veto, it was replaced in 1985 with termination by an enacted joint resolution. A joint resolution passed by both chambers requires presidential signature, giving the president veto power over the termination (requiring a two-thirds majority in both houses in the case of a contested termination). The Act also requires the President and executive agencies to maintain records of all orders and regulations that proceed from use of emergency authority, and to regularly report the cost incurred to Congress.
Libertarians are such drama queens.

Trump's going to specifically fuck over Canada now even more, because they are incredibly weak as fuck. They still have no good reason for the tariffs they have now, Castro's Son showed his hand is empty because they need tariffs to exist, and Carney is not going to be some amazing WEF magician calming Luffy when he just. wants. meat. It was a joke before but I think we really will have better relations with Mexico over the next 8 years than with Gaynada, especially if they just let us send forces in for cartels.

The amount of cope that it's Trump who cost the conservatives the election is pathetic, you can't even deflect blame correctly you fucking leafs.
What's funny is that, even with the cartels, Mexico has its act together better than Canada. Sheinbaum is at least smart enough to sit down and negotiate with Trump instead of peacocking about standing up to him. It wouldn't surprise me if she and many others were secretly thrilled that an anti-immigrant, anti-cartel president is running the United States. Mexico doesn't like that immigrants from other Latin American countries (that they look down on) use Mexico as a pit stop on their way to America.

Mexico also doesn't obsessively compare itself to America like some insecure European nation.

Good night, USPG2. Sleep tight and remember that Trump is president, Kamala Harris is not, and liberals can be persuaded by a bot that mirrors their predictable posting styles. God bless America and total commie death.
I'm reminded of Honey I hacked the Empathy machine, where a while ago some conservatives realized they could use ChatGPT to mirror lefty talking styles and it drives them BUGFUCK NUTS because ChatGPT is trained to speak just like a midwit wordcel that is a high status talking style on the left.

Similar fun reading (and connected to the above vaguely) is The Butterfly War, where Patrick Ryan (a video game VA and batshit insane data autistic) pointed out that Google (and all other big tech companies) are illegally using "Cyber Phrenology" to detect your protected characteristics without officially asking for them or getting permission. Which is illegal as hell, but they ALL do it, so... But in there he goes into details with a lot of shit that Google's been up to, including Project Shield (which is basically an AI designed to silence the right and amplify the left) and another observation: The left won't go after protected classes, even if it's not about protected class issues. Black Feminists are not criticized by White Feminists, even when they're talking about Feminist stuff and the Blacks are being disruptive.

If you trick Google into using that Project Shield shit to target protected classes instead of conservatives, 1. That causes Google a shitload of very immediate problems and 2. Google will become very very interested in programming exemptions so it never happens again. The "Butterfly war" is a reference to butterfly wing pattern evolution. Some butterflies are toxic and taste horrible. Others are not. But what happens is the others that are tasty have random wing patterns and, over time, those patterns start to look just like the toxic ones. Predators learn to avoid both.

If Google's AI can't tell the difference between a gay conservative and a straight conservative, they won't attack conservatives, because attacking a gay "tastes bad." (The media manipulators even now call this a "Butterfly Attack." Very similar to Concern Trolling, but subtly different.)

One of these two -- I think the guy who did the Butterfly War column -- is who got Twitter to ban all access to the Twitter API overnight, because he fed all the available information from some lefty turbo-sperg posters into an LLM and it shat out all kinds of Cyber Phrenology data. "This is where this user lives, based on the slang they use, the hours they post, and them mentioning the following businesses which are only in the following regions, and... This is what industry the user is in. BAsed on word choice, this user likely a member of this ethnicity. This is the user's..." It was enough to absolutely terrify people and they IMMEDIATELY cut off the Twitter API after he did it.

We went drifting the Harry S. Truman to avoid a Houthi munition of some kind and lost an F-18 (60 million) into the drink for our trouble.

We are over 40 days into operation Roughrider BTW with its only stated goal to stop the attacks on commercial shipping witch havent occurred in over 4 months

we are dangerously close to an new Afghanistan because nothing short of a full effort ground invasion will stop long term future attacks

I know it's not a new observation, but it truly amazes me that those who seem to hate jews the most in current year are also the ones fastest to call everyone they don't like a nazi. The irony is also entirely lost on them.
frankly at this point, in a few years nobody will like jews, and the ones that did were boomers that died of old age or hung themselves when their 401k went down 10%

What "certain issues" are you talking about here? What "vulnerable or underrepresented" segments of the population are finding Trump "jarring"? What talking points are "echoing in unexpected corners"?

I'm really trying to get a handle here on exactly wtf you are talking about. Your writing style is so oily, it slips around all the proper nouns and direct statements that would give your post meaning. It's just a bunch of vaguely negative adjectives that are hinting at something, but are divorced from any type of proper subject matter. It reads as a thinly veiled "Orange Man Bad" post.

If you have a criticism, stop beating around the bush and just say what it is and who is doing the criticizing. I'm not one of those who think Trump is above criticism, maybe it's valid, who knows? Criticisms need to be more clearly stated than a Crazy Days and Crazy Nights blind post in order for discussion to be possible.
buddy, its a copypasta about Chappelle Roan I fed into Grok and asked it to make it about Trump

Did ya ever check the bottom of the post where I included the source in the spoiler?

your description of that true nonsense I posted as "oily" made by laugh out loud, so damn accurate.

Technically, asymmetric losses like that make sense when you're fighting for commercial shipping which makes you asymmetric amounts of money. But am I coping? Yes

Would those "cheep" pleasures be petting birds, or eating Peeps, or something else of the avian variety?
it involves proofreading your post looking for any mistaken words before sending it on the kiwi bird farms so an autistic grammar nazi doesn't call you out for it.

clearly I'm not a libertarian so i don't participate in such carnal pleasures. :really:

Man, protesters used to have balls. These are some seriously weak displays of "defiance." These cops are in plainclothes and clearly unimpressed with the dipshits shouting "pig" at them.

May they all (the protesters that is) pass away from uncomfortable sexually transmitted infections. They don't deserve any kind of "martyrdom."

I wish a real mudslime would explode a VBIED in the vicinity and kill all of them. The cops, the jews, and the "protestors."
Yeah, even the muzzies seem to be half-assing this one. In the past that chick waving the israeli flag would have provoked major violence, not an impotent middle finger from a raghead.

You know I used to think that the biggest threats facing the future of western nations where the insane college libs that ran Yale and other big colleges. While they are still the factor I think this graph really opened my eyes to just how much the older White generations fucking don't give a shit about leaving anything of value behind. They want their brown man servants doing everything for them, and by God if it means flooding Canadas with Rapists that will clog their cities like fat to an artery than what else is there to care about. Unless someone else want's to take control of N. Americas borders then we have a problem.
