Yeah, I have been openly anti-Libertarian for some time now for several reasons, it's the freak misfit of right wing politics in general. I think the only two times Libertarianism was "done right" to some degree in American politics were Thomas Jefferson and Calvin Coolidge. Warren Harding and Jefferson Davis failed.

In theory Libertarianism shouldn't be Right or Left leaning as it calls for as weak of a state as possible, if not totally nonexistent. It can appeal to anyone that wants a very weak or no government. This is why the Libertarian Party in the USA has power struggles between different factions conservative and liberal factions who advocate for different cultural beliefs.
