Doggy daycare isn't necessarily a bad thing, and neither is crating your dogs. But I do think putting your dog in daycare when you don't have a job that requires you to be out of your house for 8+ hours is a stupid and unneeded thing, showing that you don't actually really care about your dog because you'd rather pay someone to take care of them for you.
Crating your dog can be helpful if you have a dog with neurotic or anxious tendencies that result in destructive behaviour and reactivity. And yet again, I don't think Anisa or Ian have trained the dogs to a point where they've agreed with a trainer that crating is the smartest thing to do, as well as neither of them having a genuine reason to crate either of their dogs.

It just paints a picture of Anisa being an extremely retarded dog owner - She got a rottweiler, which is a working type of dog that NEEDS a job to be a happy and harmonious dog and NOT a first time dog owner breed, but she also has two mutant dogs in Blitz(RIP) and now Merlin being Boston terriers. Terriers are also a working type of dog even if many of them function well as companions, their terrier instincts have them chasing critters like rats, mice and birds.
Fiona broke out of their home, probably because she's poorly trained and an incredibly bored rottweiler and if they started crating her afterwards instead of..y'know..walking the dog or playing with her, it just means they didn't start treating the root cause of the issue and instead lock her up in what is borderline abuse when using crating in this way.

I would not worry about that. Yeah, they can disappear temporarily but so what? The event will fail horribly and put them further in the red and they lost the last remnants of their paying fanbase (specifically the ones they shared with H3). They can hide but they will be broke and continue to be so.

Also, so what if they can lie about it being a success? It won't be. They can lie while preparing for Chapter 11. They will either admit the truth later or lie while going hungry. Who cares? They cannot fix the fact that this will fail. Let them lie and watch as they deteriorate.

Yes, ideally dogs will go into their crate because it's a safe and comfortable space like a den. I think crate training your dog is a good idea in general so when you need to use it your dog won't be stressed and anxious. It's also good for puppies so they don't have accidents in the house, theyre much less likely to pee or poop in their crate, unless they really cant hold it in, or chew up your stuff while you're gone. It's also good for helping with separation anxiety and enforcing naps when they need one. Two most important rules about using the crate is never use it as punishment and limit crate time to a max of 8 hours depending on age. Size of the crate is also important. They should be able to stand up and turn around comfortably.

If you put your dog in a crate instead of giving them the attention and exercise they need then you're a piece of shit that shouldn't own a dog, especially a working breed dog.
