I'd be fucking terrified of whatever the next drop from MnPublicRecords is. Because the next drop could very well be proof Nick and April have been at the same rental house, maybe doing drugs, maybe having sex, but whatever it is, they're doing it together...like the world's shittiest star-crossed speds. And now Nick brings up he doesn't like how local people seem to look at him different (read: negatively): now he has to believe they're all going to rat on him, because there's a non-zero chance they actually are.
Sletta does have something of a reputation for being a hot head, and many indicators would lean to him being MNPublicRecords... but I'm not quite there yet.

He's an actual Boomer, and Nick still allows his kids to see him/Shari on the regular.

Others with a hate boner for Rekieta (some related to Sletta) are much more tech/Internet savvy.

I think that'd be a real big wrench in their marriage
Hope springs eternal. I've lost all hope for Kayla having any agency. She delivered Popeyes to him as he was streaming today.

How does Wil have veto power over which shows this woman goes on? Or is he just saying that Wil refused to pass on her contact information?
I dunno but he says it in this stream (tonight) at 16:46. Aaron also said that Wil took down the interview with "K" after a shower call from Nick.

Some more on Nick's Viva appearance.

Before ending the stream, Viva paraphrases some of what had already been covered regarding Nick. Viva describes it as a new beginning with Nick starting up again on his LOCALS, YouTube, and Rumble platforms.

Nick vs Haters
Viva alleges that Nick will move on and grow in a way that "some people are not going to want you to grow from." Nick speaks to this by highlighting the support he received from Viva and Barnes from the start and how they were 100% correct in their assessments. Nick then gloats that the people who told him he was handling things wrong later also said that Nick got a better deal than they expected. Nick claims this is because he was handling things strategically.

Nick expressed disappointment in the people who couldn't see the "decent guy" underneath the mess going on, saying that a little grace would have gone a long way. Viva takes this opportunity to liken Nick to the rebirth/metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly, somewhat related to Nick's shirt. Nick jokes about it being a cocaine shirt and goes into how he took responsibility for what happened and how he would have brought it up sooner if it weren't for his criminal case (lol).

Nick and Kids
Nick claims his kids didn't know anything about substance use at all, but now they have a "strong education" on drugs. Nick describes his relationship with his kids as having levity (haha dad got arrested) while also being very deep. Nick credits this to his to working from home since his eldest as 1 1/2 years old. His constant presence means "they knew me, they knew that I wasn't out to harm them, they weren't exposed to anything under my watch... so when this happened they were just happy that we all got reunited and that mom and dad are healthy and everything ended up okay. We probably have a better relationship now than we ever had."

Nick says that he would rather this bond be formed in a better way, but he is glad things worked out.

Nick and God
Earlier in the stream Nick spoke about how God has always had his back and what he says here is an extension of that. Nick says that God uses all thing for good whether they are good or bad. While Nick says his situation was bad due to choices he made, but if they were used for good in the long run then they are "just part of the story".

Chats

"You'll come back Bigger and Better Nick. Because a good man was always in there to begin with."

"honest, open and unconditional ownership of your activities is almost your fans needed. thank you (praying emoji)"

"Thanks for bringing Nick on the show and for always speaking the truth. Godspeed Viva and Nick."

Nick and Viva plan to stay in touch and Nick plans to visit Viva next time he is in the area.

How does Wil have veto power over which shows this woman goes on? Or is he just saying that Wil refused to pass on her contact information?
That's what I wanna know. Maybe Aaron will elaborate.

Do I believe Wil contacted her in a panic when it looked like she was going to go on Divinity's show?

Sure. Absolutely.

But neither he, not any other Balldoguard, should have power over anyone. Tell all Balldoguards to suck your dick (yes, even if you are female).

Aaron also said that Wil took down the interview with "K" after a shower call from Nick.
That I 100% believe. I believed that the millisecond I saw he took it down for "editing."

Nick wants only one narrative as to what happened in court: his.

Viva takes this opportunity to liken Nick to the rebirth/metamorphosis from caterpillar to butterfly, somewhat related to Nick's shirt.
Can we PLEASE just deport Viva already?

For a guy who's idea of a poker face is stapling his own cards to his forehead and calling the dealer retarded for advising him not to, you'd think he'd stop talking about his own legal shit on stream.

That said, it's more evidence Nick unironically has brain damage. 'Functional' addicts can hold consistent core ideas even if they're just internalized lies but the vacillitating over his drug addiction is the result of a short-term amnesiac knowing he has to lie but forgetting why - kind of darkly karmic for somebody who bragged about his ability to appear sober.

That's actually fairly good sample of what relatively normal Internet users (as opposed to...well, us) think of Nick. Most who know him likely haven't even heard of his family neglect, they enjoyed his trial coverage, in this case the Rittenhouse event, then looked him up later and found him drunk out of his mind and looking rancid. Nick seems to have convinced himself that his downfall is a single scandal that got blown out of proportion, but what it did was just hasten the damage from 2 years of forgetting to serve his audience and instead serve himself. All the drugs and alcohol has done is strip him of his ability to hide that his pet subject really just is himself.

One thing you missed that's very Nick-related that Aaron relayed without saying the name ""K"".

- Wil is yet to re-edit and release the previously released interview with "K" at the courthouse
- Divinity offered to pay "K" to appear for an interview on her channel
- Wil apparently "blocked" that interview from happening (somehow)
- Cue this Parker nonsense
How does Wil have veto power over which shows this woman goes on?

A more likely scenario than it being "blocked" could be that K didn't necessarily go to Divinity due to being miffed at Wil's balldowashing or anything like that, and she instead went to Divinity only because the bad timing of Wil's travels made him slow about responding and noncommittal about getting his interview set up as quick as K would like, but when Wil eventually heard (via shower call or otherwise) that Divinity was on the verge of stealing his scoop, he scrambled at the last minute to get back to K and get his interview done faster even if the shitty mexican bar backdrop was the best he could do in a pinch. That would have just so happened to make the occasion for a Divinity interview moot without him needing to "block" anything per se.

On a related note, even if K wasn't annoyed at Wil before, it seems like his taking down her interview from his channel may have burned bridges later on, because she is supposedly now in direct contact with Aaron of all people for a crossover coming up. Before tonight's segment discussed above, he apparently teased this morning that he and K were in discussions about him doing an interview to replace the one that Wil deleted, but she turned it around and wanted to make it primarily or wholly her interviewing Aaron for some reason, which he is willing to do and expects to do soon. Stallyn19 had that in another clip today beginning at 6:30:

It is mystifying what K would even have to ask Aaron about, or what Wil or others would have K ask Aaron about, but if it's just another trap to trick him into talking about Kayla then he's been through enough of those to know to easily shut it down. One way or another it could make for some amusing content.

He also blames Aaron for what happened and feels that if it weren't for him, he wouldn't have lost anything.

several observations, but tl;dr - i would not want to be nick right about now.
  • nick has clearly been outclassed and outmatched by even the most mundane of lawtubers. the environment has evolved considerably since he started exclusively drunk-streaming and drama-streaming.
  • nick pretty much has to stream every day or else get a job. if he's not logging his hours on stream, his PO will surely force him to get a real job.
  • nick clearly hates the law and is too lazy, incompetent, pickled, or otherwise mentally incapable of providing even the bare minimum of useful commentary on ongoing trials. the only reason to watch him is either to gawk or to fulfil some parasocial urge (plenty of those people out there, sadly)
  • nick does not have the talent, work ethic, or insight to competently cover any other topic or be a generally entertaining streamer, no matter how easy it would be given his returning audience size.
  • nick is constantly interacting with ass-kissers and enablers, but once his "comeback tour" is over, he will become a drag on other lawtubers' streams once their audiences realize that nick has nothing of value to contribute.
  • nick being under parole means that the government is watching his every move, waiting for him to fuck up. when he's not being watched by his PO, he's broadcasting himself pontificating on shit he doesn't care about for hours at a time and potentially saying incriminating shit.
  • nick has to stream because the government is forcing him to do so, not because he enjoys it (because he has to be sober and now a huge portion of his audience is trolls) or because he needs the money (because he clearly doesn't)
nick has got to be pretty fucking miserable right about now. baring a complete reinvention of himself and his work ethic, he is consigned to perpetually circle the drain until or unless he fucks up his parole.

It's worth noting that the device used to scan the first set of documents, a Ricoh IM C2500, is a model which was one of only 5 listed by the MN government for procurement for small offices as of a few years ago. Interesting coincidence.

It had a list price of over $17,000, so if it wasn't scanned in an office, it was likely in a library or some other public place. This isn't a device for personal use.
That is very interesting. Im pretty sure he had help getting those pictures taken. First photo it taken at an angle with the sun off view to the right. Looking at the shadows on photo 2 and 3 confirms the suns location and tells us they were taken sometime in the early/mid afternoon. 2 and 3 are more interesting because the harsh glare in the middle. This tells us the person was in a car and took photos through the window glass like this. FVM427(1).webp emcmw.webp
Both 2 and 3 were shot quickly one after the other with just a small change in angle. 4 is also a zoomed in and brightened image 3. I think one person was driving south while the passenger snapped each photo in order. They turned in their seat after picture one and quickly took 2 pictures to get the license plate good.

Go back to the original "public records" - they were also photos of a computer screen (with a mouse cursor visible on certain pages) which were then printed and scanned. Why the person behind the account did this, I have no idea.
Maybe to erase meta data? There's easier ways to do it but if you're paranoid this is the safest way. It would be embarrassing to have you're name or any other clues leaked because of a mistake. The brightened picture 4 also makes me think this. They went through and digitally altered the image but still chose a lower quaility scan. Funny metadata analysis was a big part of the Depp trial. Maybe someone who watched Nicks coverage remembered that fact. Its possible but there's no telling.

Its an interesting little mystery.

@MNPublicRecords is not Dan Sletta. I’m sure he is a nice guy but he is indeed a boomer. Just read his Facebook posts:

IMG_3480.webp
IMG_3481.webp

(Interestingly, had to look through the thread for the second comment. Either Dan or Kayla deleted it from Facebook.)

Like, come on. He is talking about boomer stuff like death, planets, and Jesus. He did not pen any of the interesting matters of public record.

Although I don’t think it’s Dan, I think the poster is both:

a) Someone local to Nick. They would have to be to access some of the documents they did, and they also alluded to this in their last post.
a few small-l locals thought you guys would be interested to know
Possibly related to Kayla, but not necessarily.

b) Someone with a second account on the forum. Their posts are full of in-jokes from the thread, so they’re here quite a bit. They keep track of posts to quote in their drops. But at the same time, their account is only active for a minute or so when they post. Then they go dark. Of course, it’s possible they could be browsing as a guest the rest of the time. However, it’s more likely they are logging out of one account and logging into @MNPublicRecords to post a drop.

I’m not really eager to figure out exactly who @MNPublicRecords is, but I enjoy their content and hope they keep posting.

It is clear that it is a local because the CHIPS case was only viewable at the courthouse, family court cases involving children are do not have their documents available online. And they were on the ball right away, which suggests it might be one of the reporters who were involved in getting the ball rolling or a family member who was in the loop.

Otherwise it would be hard to know what to ask for at the court house or even know that there was something to ask about.
That all the files were accessed and ready to drop makes it seem like it was planned in advance, so someone really has a hate boner for Nick and likes to point out his stupid lies and debunk him publicly.

Fingers crossed we will get more.

If it's a government computer, it may have either screenshot logging software or screenshot prevention software. We used to get around it with pictures of the screen when we needed support. Really sensitive places would prohibit phones but government is half-assed about that so they likely have the software as a legacy but don't want to inconvenience anyone by restricting phone access.
