Genuine question: what record do you expect there to be? Do you genuinely think that every McDonald's franchise keeps employment records for every teenager who worked there 40 years ago? No business on earth keeps records of employees that long. Even hospitals aren't required to keep medical records for that long.

Sorry needed a quick example and got it wrong, my point is that it's very hard to prove especially when you have 0 identification and have recently had a massive number of illegal immigrants across the border and there are states with no identification. How do you prove that someone has a right to vote?

I respect that viewpoint, honestly. But how do you force people to show ID, when they can't physically go to the polls? And lots of people just don't have valid ID, for whatever reason. My belief is that requiring ID will be far more likely to just discourage citizens from voting than it will be to prevent fraud. And there is no evidence of any significant fraud in the first place. Again, I just don't believe that someone is going to go to the trouble of sneaking into this country, and then risk jail and deportation to fraudulently vote. I know a lot of people in this country have been conditioned to believe that all illegal immigrants are here to rape our white women and eat our dogs, but the truth is most of them are just here to do slightly less shitty work for slightly less shitty wages than what they'd get in Mexico and send 90% of the money they make back to their families. Most of them want to just keep their heads down and not get sent back to where they'll get paid $1 a day.
The idea that there is significant amounts of voter fraud has been debunked, so I just don't see a reason to fix what ain't broke.
