I see this new narrative forming. That Kayla cheated on Nick, and that is why Nick opened up their marriage.

Jim Purphy's account was created March 2022 and appears well used, so I don't think that he is a Nick Rekieta sock. He seems to be a bit of an alog (no room to bash him there).

I don't buy it. Not that women don't cheat. But that Nick is such a narcissist he would not abide that lack of control of her cheating. Plus there is plenty of evidence that they were pretty degenerate for a long time prior to the Depp trial.
But I do wonder if this is the story Nick is singing to April, and that he may tell others on the side, hoping that it will leak out. Kind of like how he tells stories to Barnes and others with the expectation his narrative will leak out.

None of this is new. It was Aaron who stated that Kayla wanted some sort of relationship with someone she met on a Star Trek online game (I guess a mobile game of some sort).
To my knowledge, Aaron did not specify a time range other than that it was in the past and the "during the Depp trial" is fake lore that developed in this thread because people wanted to attach it to the "worst day" narrative.
If you want more specific information, you can find it by searching this thread and Aaron's thread.
It could be because Aaron's in the picture, to be fair.

In retrospect Nick's persona on the internet was very Soviet/Eastern Bloc in style. Loudly proclaim you are mighty and fully in control until things completely collapse, at which point you flee in silence as though you'd never said those earlier things.

I dunno who here is watching the Lawtube thread, but Joe's situation keeps getting funnier. He might be even worse of a lawyer than Nick, Ty Beard, and Barnes.

Everybody left in Nick's camp now seems to have pretty serious moral or ethical issues.
Even if it doesn't originate from Nick himself, it's laughable bullshit.
Even if you wanna entertain the idea Kayla initiated the swinging, Nick had a responsibility, as head of household, and a father, to say no. To not become a polyamorous cuck who engages in activity that endangers his kids. Get a divorce, FFS, like a normal goddamned person.
But I don't buy even that. Not even for a minute. Nick's scumfuckery is the type that's innate. I don't believe people learn or adapt to be like this. I don't believe his wife changed him into a degenerate. That she somehow goaded him into becoming a degenerate. He is and likely always has been. It's just that he previously hid it really well.
He is naturally selfish, self-indulgent, and narcissistic person. A broken human being. He knew what he was doing. He enjoyed what he was doing. He's been on the Internet long enough to know open marriages are a catastrophe waiting to happen (plenty of examples on KF). But, as usual, he thinks he's smarter than everybody else and his case would be different (spoiler: he's not, and it's not).
I have changed my view on Faran's claim about that conversation she allegedly had with Nick years ago. The one where Nick claimed Kayla wanted to swing. I initially wrote it off as bullshit that couldn't be corroborated, but I now think it that conversation probably happened pretty close to how Faran related. What I think, though, is Nick was projecting on Kayla something he very much wanted to do himself. At most, I would believe they both mutually came to realization they wanted to do this crap.
Similarly, I don't believe Kayla was unhappy with her body (at least at first), as much as I believe NICK was unhappy with her body.
Make no mistake, Nick is the conductor on this express train to hell. Kayla ain't innocent, sure, but Nick is in charge. He'd have it no other way.
And I have to say, I might be one of the few people here who does not give a single solitary FUCK what his "worst day" is. You will note I never discuss it. I never understood the fascination with trying to run that down. As if it's the key to something.
Honestly, I'd just assume his new worst day is DENIED DENIED DENIED DENIED. And the one before that was the police taking a battering ram to his front door. And the one before that was losing his appeal to Monty. One thing led to another.

Didn't she post a screenshot of the text exchange at some point? The convo obviously happened, but Nick was lying. He was broaching the topic with Faran because he wanted to bang Faran. He was easing into the convo with her to see if she'd be open to it. "My wife wants us to open our relationship...but I'd only be comfortable if I could do that with someone I knew and trusted. I know and trust you, Faran". There is no way wife swapping was Qayla's idea, it was obviously the brainchild of Nick.
I COULD believe that he learned she was talking sweetly with the Star Trek guy and that lead to the swinging. I've known people who got cheated on and responded to it with "I'll forgive you if you let me cheat on you in return". It's psychopathic but people do it, and I can totally see Nick seeing Qayla having an "emotional affair" and convincing her to let him bang other women as retribution.
Re: the nose bleed video - he didn't get popped in the face, guys. The nosebleed is from the cocaine. You can even tell he's high when he gets back on camera.

Some guy (name escapes me, atm) she was talking to had texts leaked where she related to that guy what she and Nick talked about. Those are the texts everybody saw (and have been posted in this thread a number of times).
Nick responded to that leak by claiming that Faran misunderstood what he told her, and Faran seemingly went along with that. My guess is maybe she just didn't want the drama. Nick still had a fairly healthy fanbase then (read: people who would go after her, as some did).
There's presumably nothing to leak regarding the conversation between her and Nick concerning swinging, because the conversation wasn't in text. It was voice, or voice and video. Allegedly very early in the morning. Both drunk. Not recorded.
That's why people (like me) were on the fence as to whether to believe her. The only real evidence was her word. However, since it's 100% confirmed Nick is a swinger, it's more likely than not she was telling the truth. Or close enough anyways.
If Nick was a participant in those texts that were leaked, the swinger speculation could have been confirmed years earlier.
Yes, I now lean towards him wanting a threesome with Faran and Kayla, but claiming it was Kayla that wanted it.
Again, maybe Kayla wanted it too, but I don't believe for a second he didn't also.
Hence, I will roll my eyes at anybody that tries to blame all of Rekieta's troubles on Kayla alone. He's a control freak. If that's the narrative Balldoguards want to go with, they're stupid and deserve to be mocked.
Nick's downfall is entirely Nick's fault.
