I was under the impression that people enjoyed Nick primarily because he was entertaining to listen to while they did other things. This tracked with why people didn't look to hard at his actual qualifications and character, thereby putting more stock in what he said than they should. I'm guessing this is the case with a lot of lawtuber streamers.

With such a broad spectrum applied to who can be considered a lawyer online it's a wonder why people aren't more cautious of anyone on YouTube (or elsewhere online) branding themselves with the catch-all term "lawyer". People are interested in watching the big courtroom streams likely because they assume the "lawyer" who is streaming and providing commentary has a respectable amount of actual courtroom experience and not just an administrative clerk, a graduate whose experience is primarily in an academic context, or someone with an embarrassing track record in court.

I am not the demographic for lawtube and their ilk, but participating in this thread has made it clear that the bulk of lawyers who are e-celebrities are just adults playing "pretend lawyer" for cases they aren't representing while asserting confirmation bias in a legal context for their listeners while making dirty jokes. Basically, it's just entertainment (if one finds them entertaining). If they were to put their actual law experience/qualifications in to practice, as Nick is doing with Monty, it would likely reveal similar (if not more) incompetency like what they berate other lawyers for during their streams.

To put it another way, it's like watching a championship game and assuming the loud/funny superfan sitting on the couch next to you knows what he's talking about as he impotently screams advice at the screen. Entertaining to be sure, but there's a reason he's on the couch and not the coach. The only thing funnier would be watching him actually try to coach a team and then scream at the people giving him advice...

Also, on the topic of qualifications, keep in mind that Ethan Ralph has won more court cases than Nick Rekieta while representing himself, and that even the esteemed Marc "I have my own legal font" Randazza wasn't able to summarily deal with the likes of Monty/Schneider.

Your accomplishments have made you memorable, though not so memorable that you can escape some locals still conflating you and Cynthia. Your Panoptes succeeded in instilling shame and fear in the locals, particularly the ones who thought doxxing = death.

Nick's shoutout to KF (and you) on locals seems like both a cope and an attempt to get good boy points with them by calling out a common enemy of his locals platform (otherwise he would have done the same elsewhere too).

Nick would have done better to shout out a supporter than try to go after perceived detractors, but this is Nick's mindset now. Nick is trying to leverage the negative energy around him and turn it into content like so many other infamous personalities have. Nick is angry, and understandably so given his circumstances. I also know from experience that Nick used to solicit and rely on information from Farmers. I, and others, fed him a lot of stuff during the Vic saga.

Part of the reason Rackets is so butt-hurt is a combination of the two posts above. The Farms, in general, used to enjoy Balldoman, pre-balldo, and saw some good from him. We've talked about his public-facing turn (regardless of whether that was also a private change or not). I'd like to think I was one of the critics, but as others have posted, there was skepticism as already as the first page of this thread.

Above said, the reason Rackets hates the Farms now is we turned on him. The same with Dick. It's been mentioned above thread, and recently the association with Vito is just another nail in the coffin. Rackets is just lashing out at public faces, or as best as he create in his head. And let's be honest, he's lashing out because things aren't going well.
