I just sent this thing about the 13 bloodlines and the mystery schools to a conspiracy influencer on the internet. Then I walked outside. And some random car honked me and gave me the finger. It all kinda creeped me out. I felt cold on the back of my neck.

I don't believe it because why would you want to manifest here on earth? Only a complete idiot (or a Buddha) would want that.

I just listen to what they tell me, hear it, and try to connect the dots

I definitely believe in ghosts. The place I work at is said to be haunted, and I have to admit that if I’m still around in the late hours-when it’s quiet, lights are being turned off, the partygoers have all left, and it’s basically just our manager waiting for everyone to clock out-it gives me some chills. I also lost my Grannie back in late 2016, and my mom is convinced that she’s still hanging around.
As for other creatures, I believe in extraterrestrial life, just putting that out there. And earlier I was reading a bunch of people’s anecdotes about creepy shit. Cornfield demons, Irish faeries, Icelandic elves, forest women who steal children, etc. A part of me wants to be skeptical, but there’s another part of me willing to believe in things like that. That there’s things that have been around before us and will still be here after we’re gone. My rule for that is “You don’t really have to believe in it, but just in case, don’t fuck with it.” In other words, don’t be that one idiot in a horror movie, or Squidward trying to piss off a sea bear. You never know when it could get you lost, or mauled by fairies or a rabid coyote.

For my entire life I've been viscerally unable to look at ugly/unhealthy things bc I have a gut feeling that it's somehow contagious. I was diagnosed with OCD as a young girl (I was doing things like refusing to step on ugly colored squares in the hallways at school, so breaking the line, etc. that were getting me in trouble) but dropped the medication bc it made me zombified. Now that I'm an adult and still blissfully unmedicated I've thought about it and decided I'm not crazy, there's something to it, and it works similarly to astrology. If you try to think about it like a science loving redditor, there should be nothing about the proximity of planets etc. that should affect humans, but anyone who has actually delved into astrology knows it's somehow very real. It's just an aspect of the universe that we can't understand yet. In the same way, just looking at, touching or thinking about something "shouldn't" affect anything beyond your own mental state, but I think the reality is that it literally does. I'm constantly "cleansing" my eyes and mind.

This is normal, it’s an exaggerated version of the normal response for sure but the underlying impulse is both normal and beneficial:
It’s called your behavioural immune system.
The sort of leftist/prog mindset I believe is biological at some level.
There’s a thing called the behavioural immune system, which is our hard wired response to disgusting stimuli. Seeing maggot infested meat for example, triggers a specific brain response. This is logical because anyone who ate such things would likely die in the before times so it’s like having a biological response that says ‘this is bad for you, avoid it.’
Where it gets interesting is that this response kicks in with a lot more than maggoty meat. Two men kissing will elicit this response but to different degrees in different people. And lo and behold, progressives have a much weakened response.
Of course this is pushed as ‘haha silly conservatives’ but what’s actually happening is a weakened response in progressive mindsets.
Here’s an article like that.
Thread 'The science behind why conservatives are so easily triggered'
https://kiwifarms.net/threads/the-science-behind-why-conservatives-are-so-easily-triggered.152026/
This allows them to tolerate what’s usually defined as disgusting behaviour or stimuli much more than the more conservative type mindset. Note that I’m not breaking this down as exclusive left v right. What I mean is that progressive type way of thing, the herd mentality, the drive to break down barriers etc with the type of mentality that asks why the barrier is there before we remove it.
All the modern plagues associate with this revelling in disgusting things. Trannyism, gooning, all the fetish based behaviours. When you look at it it all boils down to rubbing your own and others noses in the filth, and there’s a measurable biological difference at play.
These people also have a strong outgroup preference, which again I believe to be biological at some level, and they relentlessly train others to discard their own barriers and love outgroup more.
You are unusual in that you’re consciously thinking ‘contagion’ but what you’re experiencing sounds like some pure O type OCD combined with rumination triggered by your behavioural immune system.

Welp, just in time for spooky season I got some new content from my mum's side of the family (Chechen. Chechen + Irish, we had a fun house growing up.)

She has some superstitions that make sense now that we have talked a bit.

Trees are more alive and more powerful than you can know. They are the abodes of spirits and have their own powers. Little TEA 3HF Remembers when mom would absolutely berate him for ripping bark off of a living tree needlessly. Also, she would sometimes leave little gifts at or clean up around trees in our yard.

Whistling is always bad and summons satan and his influences upon you.

Djinni are out there and you better not do much at night nor travel at night because of they find you, you're cooked.

If I leave just one door or window unlocked someone is going to silently crawl in and kill my wife & I while we sleep. It would be my fault for being too lazy to check the doors and windows three or six times before bed, too.

But that might be OCD, lol

I've had this belief since I was a kid, that you shouldn't talk about good things when they're about to happen, otherwise they won't happen. This goes for job offers too, don't talk about them.

No clue how I got this belief but it's a harmless one at least.
