Your Stuffed Animals - hurr durr im a big grown-up i don’t have stuffed animals that’s for babies hurr durr
I still have this beanie baby cockatoo from when I was a kid.
It's official name is KuKu but I always called him Polly. I carried him around with me everywhere, played out in the yard with him, read books to him, etc, he was with me basically all the time. I really loved this little dude.
He just sits on my computer nowadays, but if I ever have a kid, Polly is gonna be his/her first stuffed toy. Maybe then he'll get a better name lmao.
It doesn't seem like any from my childhood made it over to adulthood, but I always like seeing what others managed to keep.
I did get one like this from a fish hatchery a few years ago. I like [to eat] trout. It was a good stop on a longer trip and I'm always happy to remember that when I see him.
I have a microwavable lavender scented monkey I named Farkas. It smells more like leftover pizza than lavender now. Think that's because I microwaved him right after microwaving pizza. He looks like this chimp but with a tail.
While finding a picture of something like Farkas, I found out Warmies has a baby dragon. Looks tempting.
The tiny wings have stolen my heart.
The only one I held onto I called "Move Head" because when you wind up the key on his back it plays some music and the little guy rolls his head around.
Once I give him a deep cleaning and baby Sword is old enough he'll be passed on.
I have a bunch in a box in my room. I never managed to get over myself and throw them away. I still have a really torn up stuffed mouse that I got basically as soon as I saw the light of day, that one stays in my bed because it has accomoanied me through so much shit.
I have an Azurill and an Eevee plush on my vanity. I have a bunny plush I was gifted from my grandma when I was younger and I still sleep with it to this day. And I have a hedgehog plush that squeaks.
I still have a little Chihuahua my uncle gave to me when I was little. Also my very first doll that I had since I was born.
Also had a shit load of Beanie Babies, but I only kept the three my boyfriend gave me. (A turtle, a cat and a llama)
A very battered stuffed mouse from when I was a kid, and a little white teddy bear that was a thank you gift from someone. They sit on a shelf in the bedroom.
A friend of mine got me a sucklet (yes that's its actual name) for my birthday a few years back, and I love how silly it looks. It even has a dog toy squeaker in it!
This thread is adorable. I still keep some of my childhood toys, but they're gathering dust at my mother's house.
A few stuffed animals I have there are a small hound dog (you know the one with the big flappy ears), a tabby cat that would make noises when you pressed its belly and a small brown teddy bear.
The toys they made in the 90's and early 2000's were the shit, really high quality. But then the chinese crap appeared, and everything went downhill.
I've had a little pink bear since I was an infant named Buffy. That's her name on the tag so I guess I just went with it. I recently found her. I'm 38 and she has somehow made it through every move with me.
I think my husband got it on a site called Fangamer, but I am not one hundred percent sure since it was a gift.
Also, I have a reshiram plushie just because I saw it once at some convention and it reminded me of JustinRPG and I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it.
Also, my only win from the claw machine as a kid. Basically we were going camping in the UP and my family stopped at Walmart on the way there and I begged my mom to play the claw machine when we were on the way out and it seemed like the claw machine was ready to pay out since it grabbed this bear in a grape suit perfectly and I won it. My parents were really impressed and I had that bear throughout the trip. I don't remember what I originally named it though.
I have a little purple bear that I won at the state fair when I was 4, I decided to name him Spumpy and he's just chilling in my office now
