You know, I have two female friends who were all excited over all the hype about Caitlin Clark getting drafted into the WNBA, but I have never seen or heard either of them talk about watching a WNBA game, or any other women's sports.
 
Well… yeah. I mean there’s elite level sport and there’s all the levels down from it. We don’t stop pub football teams from playing just because they’re full of tubby dads do we? They’re playing for fun and fitness.
You compete within your category. Kids do sport, total novices do sport. I used to run a lot and I was never very fast but why would I think ‘well I’m never going to be world first so I’ll quit.’
Even elite level. You put Vlad Klitschko in with Amir khan and khan is getting beaten hard. Both excelled in their weight category.
Why can’t women play and compete against each other? We know there’s an only a couple of sports women consistently beat men at but… it’s just enjoyable in and of itself to push your body amd mind against the standard of your peers

It's because of their moid-brained need to secure victory at all costs leading to a fundamental inability to enjoy things they are not winning at. Second place is first loser type of mindset. No male who talks about this actually believes that women play these sports for fun and a sense of mastery and accomplishment. And that's why they talk in circles like retards while we are standing right here telling them we play them because it's fun and we like it.

Same thing with "uhh durr weomons don't like music or video games". Apparently you can 'win' at music by knowing the most about an artist? I don't know, but it's the same shit. They refuse to believe we just like it.

I hate to break it to you, but you made my point for me.

Male psychology is about glorification of victory. Women do not think this way.

Therefore the cult of personalities surrounding people like Muhammad Ali, Larry Bird, etc do not exist for women. Absolutely nobody cares about Caitlin Clark.

Women play sports. Yes I know that, I'm not stupid, but men will never care and neither will most women. This is supported by viewership statistics.

Apparently you didn't really get the point of my post. This is about popularity, not whether women should be barred from playing basketball. My point is nobody will ever care enough for the sport to ever be considered an equal alternative to the mens category.

I never said women don't like music. I said Taylor Swift's cult of personality is based on her looks not her music because her music sucks.

That's also stupid brained, because people of both genders verifiably enjoy Taytay. You might be confusing your own personal sense of taste, an opinion, with what is considered fact.

I won't call myself "a fan" but Antihero is likeable.
